Echo 1 is good. The Classic Army Sportline M4 is the best for the money. JMHO.

Classic Army.

I think you know the answers already, you just want to hear them from somebody else.

Echo 1 is almost the same thing as JG, they are a little nicer but usually not worth much more than JG.  My friends and I have had 4 JGs and only one major problem: the gearbox shell for my friend's MP5 SD6 broke.  But CA has much better guns than any clone brand I know, but I've heard good and bad about thier sportline.

Despite other CA guns the sportline series is hit or miss.  I've read (admitedly not experienced) numerous threads of people who have had troubles with the stock motors quitting on them.  Replace it with whatever long motor and the gun performs great.

Echo1 makes decent product but I would save up and buy the "Proline" (if you can call it that) CA M4 series with the metal body and all as it will last a hell of a lot logner than the plastic bodied M4's do.

My .02$

echo 1 is not a manufacturer they buy their guns from jing gong , they buy only the best quality ones and also add a manufacturer warranty but the guns come from the same factory in china  they are good guns though
type airsoft on wikipedia.com for further details on brands of airsoft this is very helpful .

Classic army is the way to go, if you have a little more money to spend. I have never used a JG gun so i wouldnt know which would be better between JG/Echo 1. My brother has had his Echo 1 m4 for about a year and nothing has gone wrong internaly, and he is a full auto kinda guy ;)

I\'ve touched that gun with my hand which had touched my penis. I hope you did not touch your mouth after touching that gun. That would mean your had put part of my penis in your mouth.

I heard Echo 1's are more reliably then CA sportslines from alot of sites and people. Reason why I got Echo 1.

JG is a Chinese clone company, one of the best, from what I've heard.  Echo 1 is just a rebrander. They usually take JG guns, test them, give them a warranty, sometimes changing internals, and then they sell them under their name. They're pretty much the same company.

While 90% true Echo 1 does replace the spring and opens up the gearbox and lubricates stuff better.  While Makes isnt exactly the right word to use it is loosely acceptable to use.  In my case it should have been better stated.  True though, JG and Echo1 are practically identical.

Interestingly enough, CA Proline's are not that expensive anymore.  At one time they were much higher in price (enough so I'd never had bought one)  However, having said that the quality of their product has taken a serious hit as their reliability is starting to go down a bit.  But their price reflects that.

The best deal that I can possibly find for an M16/M4 styled gun, is the G&P Custom guns that Boomarms and WGC make, you can get a full M16A1/M16VN/M16A2 for 230+ shipping form hong kong.  One quick change from the G&P Sector gear to a CA Sector gear makes the gun 100x more reliable then the stock set up and costs 15$ more if you find a decent quality used CA sector gear.  On top of that you get the best externals that a stock gun will ever have.  I love my G&P to death and it cost less then the CA equivilant, even after the upgrades I put into it.

Anyone know the website to Escort airsoft guns, or do they even have one, or where to buy them elsewhere?
