Radios are good.

Make sure you know how to use your radio long before you bring it to the field.  This is one of the biggest problems with radio users.  TURN OFF YOUR VOX - and know how to keep it off.  The intentional or unintentional use of VOX will bring the wrath of every player down on you in the staging area.  Just be sure to familiarize yourself with all the functions of your radio otherwise you will find yourself dealing with more problems than playing airsoft.

And remember, listening is the important part.  Once you master that, then you can start to talk.

I found an F4S refurbed, with a quick charger, new hi-cap battery and a 90 day warranty for $110.00 shipped. He will program to specs as requested. It's not all about price but it's about $75.00 less.

First, Sorry for the thread jack!!!

Second, here is a link to the radios.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... MyEbayBeta

I was holding off posting this, I wanted to make sure I got one   but I'm not set to buy one quite yet. So I am passing on the info.

I think you would want one with more channels than 2. Don't just buy something to get you by at the moment. Get something that will serve you well in the future as well.

your right i want more channels at least 15-20, but no i wont get one to tide me over i will wait as long as i need to, to get the one i want, i wanna do it right the first time plus if need be i have an old motorola frs in storage i can dig out if needed.
kinda going for the realism factor so i want to get another radio closer to specs.
thank you for the link i will check it out

You mean like getting the exact same kind that's being issued to the troops? Otherwise the ICom will be fine, it'll do the job and then some,
