Bomb Sim Game
« on: November 17, 2009, 12:32:56 PM »
I would like to do a game down here in Sierra Vista however, I have insuffiecient data on if I made a game how many people would actually showed.

Then It dawned on me, that it depends on the type of game right? well it would be a bomb defusion scenario that I made using Microsoft Visual Basic. its pretty much a program but its a bomb defusion program where you enter in codes to defuse the bomb. To acquire the codes you have to kill certain members of the bomb team to defuse the bomb. The bomb could have 5 codes you need to enter in to defuse it.

Anyway. That's the generalization of what the scenario contains but like I said I would like to hold it here in Sierra Vista, I just dont' have statistics on who would show up. and I don't want to perform the event if no one shows up. :P

Input would be nice. Thanks.

Update: The Game doesn't necessarily have to be held down here in Sierra Vista, just as long as the game can be implemented into someones agenda lol.

Now that is pretty interesting.  Rather than obtain a few props, you actually have a laptop that requires codes obtained by taking out/capturing objectives and/or opponents?

Tickle me intrigued...

Yes exactly. Terrorists plant the bomb in location A, counter terrorists locate bomb, they find out that passcodes are needed to disarm said bomb. So on and so on.

I made a little Scenario to see if anyone would be intrigued by the idea. It would take alot of effort to pull it off and make it a successful event. However, I think its a pretty damn good idea and its different from your average Milsim game.

Scenario: Intel - Mexican Cartel are trying to blow open multiple entry points to enter the USA and smuggle drugs in.

Mexican Cartel
Objective 1: Plant bomb at one of 3 locations.
Objective 2: Defend the bomb and protect those that are carring the disarming codes
Objective 3: Smuggle as many pounds of drugs in the US (This would lead into an alternate sequel, where US would try and regain lost territory and stopping the smuggling)

BORTAC
Objective 1: Locate Passcodes
Objective 2: Locate Bomb at one of 3 Locations
Objective 3: Defuse bomb
Objective 4a: Detain key suspects for intel (this would lead into a sequel. BORTAC would have to infiltrate and capture the head cheese)
Objective 4b: Prevent smuggling from happening into the USA
