Wow someone actually said WAW was good? Haha what a joke. MW1 was amazing in all ways, WAW sucked in all ways but zombies, MW2 had a decent story and great online, Black Ops had a great story and decent online. Overall the series has been up and down but I think we should wait and see how MW3 turns out before we start bashing it. It could be what brings back the MW series or it could make it worse, but no matter what it will sell millions of copies just for the online multiplayer.

OK whats with people "liking" the Nazi zombies in the black ops series? The game type was that of an "extras" and made me feel like I was at a carnival where little posters of zombies popped up at the windows. There are whole games made around zombies (for you zombie fanatics) that do a much better job of posing a challenge, requiring teamwork, and making you think of what to do next. Even Left for Dead 1 that was created before black ops still does a better job making me yell every time when a wave of zombies are chasing me down a train track, and then I turn around and there's a giant zombie that pops my head like a cherry. All I'm saying is why is this company's main feature something that you're supposed to do when you're not playing their actual main part of the game?

The funny part is how Zombies is the only part of the TREYARCH games that people enjoy for more than a week. Infinity Ward and another company are running the show for the MW series and I have high hopes for the next one. Will it meet my standards? I don't know. If no then I'll just enjoy Battlefield 3 instead.

Not trying to start an argument or anything, but why do you guys enjoy these games? I'm a huge fan of shooters, but I've yet to find a title in this series that sparks my interest. Just always got the impression that they're all very 'generic' shooters.  :-s

I personally play MAG (PS3 Exclusive) which holds battles up to 128 vs 128 or 16 vs 16 and everywhere else between. Which is my favorite just because you don't see the run-and-gun style of battle, and more of the team work kind of style.

Search more into it if you want, its only like 10 bucks now but only a year old  :-"

Okay, MW1 was definitely the best, but if you take advantage of all the features on Black
Ops, it is a great game.  With wager matches, a great single player (the best I've played), combat training, multiplayer, theater, and zombies, I don't really get bored.  That was my problem with MW2 and WAW. I got really bored!

Well in my opinion L4D sucks, like bad.

Thanks! I checked it out. Definitely more towards that good ole' massive Battlefield maps, but the combat and overall game appearance seems too similar to CoD for me. I'll probably talk a friend into buying it since he loves any cheap and decent game.

Personally not a fan of Left for Dead or most Valve games, but it held my interest far longer than any Call of Duty game.

Sorry, but I lost interest sooo fast!  But then again, I don't like hardly any games other than Call of Duty.

MAG is not in no way like any modern warfare style game. In such it feels more like a war where running around will result in getting hit by sniper fire from within a mountain or being run over by a tank. But yah, rent it or something, the graphics are outdated but I couldn't care less as long as the game is good.

(On a cool note, MAG has 3 factions you join (which later you can leave and join another) which gives an actual sense of loyalty and pride, when fighting. (Where every battle gears towards earning contracts from companies that give you bonuses for each game. And also gets rid of getting stuck with that familiar douche who noob tubes or talks smack in games.)

I'll check it out. I'm a huge fan of Rainbow Six Vegas 2, so I doubt the graphics being outdated will bother me. It'll give me something to do while I wait for Gears 3, BF 3, Elderscrolls, etc.  8)

Rainbow six vegas 2 is still one of my favorite games. It's a great change from the standard run n gun type guns like COD. It's a lot more tactical and the customization of the characters is cool.
