If you check a firearm in your luggage you have to have it in a locked case and tell them that you have it. They then will inspect it check to maker sure it is unloaded and fill out a tag. We had to do this with our airsoft guns also.

Yes, we had to have them in a locked case.

Also you need to have a hard case, metal or hard plastic.

What in the hell did you just say?

That seems extremely irresponsible, especially nowadays.  If indeed you have done things like that, certainly don't share it with the rest of us.   [smilie=armata_pdt_19.gif]

I got out my secret decoder ring but I couldn't figure it out.

Of course I don't have the illiterate decoder ring.

That is the worst idea I have ever heard.  Im not sure, were you trying to impress us w/ that?  Cause doing dumb stuff like that is what causes our sport to get bad press.  If you arent mature enough to treat an airsoft gun as if it were real, please dont buy one.  Rick

While azsarge has a point I think being arrested would be the least of the worries, having a firearm on a plane basically makes you a hijacking terrorist now. That's also the last thing airsoft needs, big news about some jacka#* being detained as a terrorist when an airsoft gun fell out of his bag.  [smilie=armata_pdt_19.gif]
