Mine came from a Shadowrun RPG character I use - a Weapons Specialist who has a knack of not missing what he shoots at (which was stolen from the Daredevil comic...)

Mine came from a bike accident I had at work. I was on bike patrol, I was going pretty fast when the front tire got stuck in a rut and I went flying. Some of the officers started to call me Crash Bandicoot.

Mine is from the soviet SA-4 "Ganef" a SAM built to shoot down our SR-71s. I chose it becuase my previous name Spectre (the world domination society in the James Bond series) was taken by some bastard when the new forumns went up. Anyway, talk about using a hammer to kill a mosquito, that is my philosophy and so... my screen name. Here is a pic for reference: Ganef is also a yiddish word for "a thief or a dishonest person, a scoundrel" which is probly where NATO got it when assigning the name.

Defietly NOT this person as some may mistake!!!!

When In grade school I had a good friend who was named Sergio, but his nickname was Sarge.  Once upon a time I played Sum of All Fears.  I needed a username and I have alot of nicknames but none of them fit for a "tactical" shooter game. So I couldn't think of anything for a user name except for my friends nickname, so I used it.  In the game, I always ended up telling other people on my team where and how to set up inorder to have a successful defensive position.  Because if I didnt do this most people would just run around and get killed, which was usually the case even when I told them what to do.  Just as I was getting fed up with all the kiddies on there, I found my self working as a team with one guy.  We decided to form a team and he picked our team name -MAD-  for Men Assigned Delta and he thought it looked cool.  So my name was -MAD- SARGE in the game and since it was the ony name that I felt that fit, I used it here.  Not very exciting as some of you other guys though.  Though, I do have like 10 "nicknames" given to me at some point, some nice and some not  :)

So i used to play alot of FPS's online especially MohAA(Medal of Honor:Allied Assault). Of course, i was the best(no really, I was) and we used to have sniper only matches all the time and i would always shoot someone once, then pull out my 1911 or P38 and..you guessed it "bust a cap"...So this kid Named Jordan Timinski(no, hes not a jew), started saying it and was like, hey busta cap bla bla... So I started using it as a joke when i registered on gaming leagues online etc..

I used to go by w|ck3d 5n|p3r and stuff...

This is me gaming MOHAA:

Crank Yankers was on about a NAM Vet. The Vet was talking about NAM and how each member of his his platoon was wiped out. Story goes, JoJockAmo was some crazy bastard, that smoked hash out of a human skull and was finally taken out by Napalm.

I've got a friend who knows a NAM vet who smokes outta a skull... kinda creepy.

Anyway, too simple.  I'm not all that original, pythonline is the official monty python site (www.pythonline.com) I'm kinda a big MP fan.

Heavy going here, boys! Everyone bearing their deepset secrets. I never could get that creative so I just stuck with my name. Have used woody1 as a call sign on an occasional funny mission in past lives. Easy and distinctive....

Cmptrdewd:

My dad has always been really good with computers and he has taught me quite a bit, I mean by the time I was 5 I was cruising down the information super highway like a pro. :)

When it came time to make myself an email address I wanted to pick something with computer in it. I thought computer was too long and comp was too common so I picked cmptr or computer without the vowels. cmptrboy was lame so I pick cmptrdude but it was taken so I spelled it differently hence: Cmptrdewd!!

I use chinchilla_man FPS games because chinchillas rock and it usually gets people to say, "Hey chilla!"  8)

Mine is simple, Ultor...Latin for Vengance. I don't like getting screwed by people.  I'm also with Pryde, Jade Falcons all the way! My sons name is Aidan. He matches the meaning of that name too. It's nice to actually find some other classic Battletech people. Screw wizards of of the cost!
