A good AEG
« on: October 09, 2005, 04:29:24 PM »
He im looking for a good long range AEG. Long range is a definite must, as is upgradeability. I am looking into the CA M15 rifle. If anyone has one i would like it if they could give me a mini-review.
Any help would be appreciated.

That would be a good choice "the rifle model". It has a long inner barrel as compaired to the rest of the AEG line. You will get great range if upgraded.

A fully custom Mk12 MOD 0 would do the trick.

I think he wants something where he can just stand somewhere in the back of the field or on top of a mountain and shoot people.(LAZY). If you want long range, get a bolt action rifle. If you want medium range, get a AEG.

Busta no actually i dont just want to sit in the back of the field and take pot shots. I want something that can be effective at ranges longer than an M4 but not have to deal with the slow RoF of a bolt action rifle.

stick with M16 type or G3. Know what just get an AEG w/ a long barrel, they can all do the same thing, turn an MP5 into a long range weapon if you want. Most important, It first depends on what you want you base AEG to look like.

Bingo. Most AEG's are the same. Ask what COMPANY to go with. And, obviously AR's have more options. And, nothing better than getting a good company M4 from SRC with awesome warranties from JT

In the airsoft world, so far I've had the ability to own both Tokyo Marui and Classic Army AR-type guns. Both are rock-solid stock, and can be upgraded with a number of parts.

I hear good things about ICS, but seeing as I don't own one I can't say for sure.
