M 4 Handguards

Please forgive me if this topic is either regarded as dumb or if this has already been discussed. My M4 was an eBay gun and had a TM grenade launcher attached to where the lower Rail was supposed to be so just the top handguard  with the 3 rails is left. What I would like to know is can i use a normal handguard with my Rails, specifiacly with the Rails on the bottom. Thanks

I'm pretty sure that will not work. I think that the two halves won't fit together properly. Also, it would look ridiculous. You could just put the whole rail system on and then put a rail armor on the top.

Just buy a better 203, a grenade shell one.

It won't work, I've tried it. The three top rails will not allow a regular handguard underneath it, and the bottom rail is not big enough to allow a top handguard to fit securely.

There is not bottom handguard at all, the idiotic thing is hard mounted to the barrel and the rest of the gun. Well I have some stock ones in the mail,  and at least whoever had it before me upgraded the motor, Although the the thing shoots it is just not worth the weight. :)
