The STAR L85 variants aren't that "popular". There are "tons" of options you have, depending on how much you are looking to spend.

i love AK's

i myself have a Classic Army AK-74 and its awesome

my friend has a TM AK-47 and its pretty good for the most part

but i'm in love with AK's

you may also want to look into Classic ARmy's new AUG

oh one more gun. very new not a whole lot of ppl have them and that is the Classic Army Offisizer.

so:
AK
AUG
Offisizer

one more thing. all Classic Army comes with pre upgraded internals. so thats somthing to think about

Technically, that gun is at the top of the least-popular list because, well, only you have one.

People are waiting for reviews on this one i think, as alot of people have wanted an AKSU for a long long time... If CA had put this out i think youd see ALOT more of them out there....

Except for the uncontrollable firing in full auto whenever the battery is connected...  As for unique it all depends on price. One of the most unique ive seen ( or never seen for that matter) is the mp40 or mp44 they can carry a pretty high price though

If you are looking for the next big thing, the STAR SL-8 is a sweet gun, and is just out.

If you're looking for a unique aeg...get anything other than an M4.  they're cool, but everybody and their cousin has one.  A lot of the choice has to be made by you and depends on a lot of things.  What price range are you looking at?  Any series of gun you particulary like?  Are you tall, short, etc (I'm pretty tall with long arms.  Me using a P90 is laughable, I can't hold it comfortably).  What size gun do you want?  Modern era or historical?

For shorter guns, you have MP5s, UMPs,  some variants of AKs (folding stock), and whatnot.  Longer guns, you have the M14, G3 styles, M16s...  You also have the historical guns, like the Thompson and Garand.  Narrow down your range of guns, give us a few different ypes you might be interested in, and I'm sure we could tell you who makes reliable models of them and where to go to get them.

He'll probably get back to this thread eventually, the search function should take care of that.

Anyway onto more constructive posts, Give the G36 a try, I really only know one or two guys who field a G36 family style AEG.
