Anyone going to the airshow Saturday or Sunday?  Admission is free and parking is $5.00.

What does everone put on their BDU name tags?  Is it more common/accepted to use your real last name or your "callsign" (i.e. Kurn)?

Does anyone know how well Classic Army high capacity magazines (in specific the M-16 and Mp5 ones) work with Tokyo Marui guns?  They are less expensive, which is why I am interested; but does that mean they don't work as well?

That was Operation: Restore Order.

The website for it is:

To answer your questions: It was as Mil-sim as any Airsoft game, it was very fun, it was not supported by a guard unit (The vehicles belonged to one of the teams that participated).  I'm sure many of the AZ people that went to RO would go to a second one, I know I would [:)]

I deleted the responses to this post.

Slingsonly, is anything actually on sale, or are you just advertising your site?  Is there anything special about these slings that sets you apart from other manufactures?

If you are 16, you can get a job at any number of places (fast food, grocery stores, etc.)

All entry level, minimum wage jobs; but a paycheck is a paycheck.

You do realize that eBay is an auction site and that there are thousands of different sellers, right?  That being said, look at the feedback for the seller.  How many positive and/or negative feedbacks he has is probably the best way to tell if the seller is trustworthy or not.  Also, you should email the seller and ask how he ships items, and how quickly he sends them out.

Are you running XP Home or Pro?  I can't speak for Home, but I have found Pro to be very compatible with older software.  Although I have not used the Platinum Pack, I have run Half Life and many of its mods without any problems (on Pro).  Your problem may be with your graphic drivers.  I have had several problems with Half Life not liking my drivers, or the graphic settings within the game.

Hope this helps,

I'm almost afraid to ask, but do you have permission to play at these houses?  Also, how visible are they to the public?

I have stayed away from ATI cards for some time (I used to have a Rage fury II that hated me) but I have to say that the Radeon 9700 is by far the better buy.  The nvidia Geforce FX 5800 is only a little bit better performance wise, but is more expensive, takes up an extra PCI slots, and apparently is loud as heck.  Also if you aren't going to be buying one for a while the Radeon 9700 should go down in price when the new ATI cards come out (which will be this summer, I think).

On a side note, the All-in-Wonder Radeon 9700 is pretty good; especially when you consider that it is only a little bit more, but includes all kinds of extras.
