Bladerunner is right.  A side note...paper coffee filters work well for cleaning Airspoft guns with a little silicone lube ("oil").  The filter does not release any lint, or fuzz like cotton, or paper towels can.  Use the cleaning rod, satuirated with sil, then run a dry piece through it.  There is no need to leave lube in the barrel.  Old sil gets gummy, and collects sand/dirt.  Firing silicone-saturated bbs thru isnt a bad idea, but not really necessary.  After a thorough cleaning (inside and out), spray a small ammoount of sil into the mag well, and into the feed nozzle (where the bb's enter the chamber).  Firing a few (like 3) CLEAN bbs through with hop-up fully on distributes the sil through the hop unit.  Remove Mag, empty mag, and replace.  Keeping it on as well as the barrel cap, keeps dust out of the inside of the AEG.  Very dusty in AZ, even indoors.  Another thing i do, just because, is the clean the inside of my outer barrel.  It is always dirt as hell.  I clean the inner barrel with wet cloth, filter pieces until they come out clean, then a few dry ones.  Cleaning inside mags is also a good idea, as well as the loading rod.  What good is it to have a clean gun, if the bb's are getting dirty in the rod.  SAme goes if you have a auto loader.  Be sure to consult your manual (or knowledgeable buddy) before you take apart mags.  TM M16 mags are pure and sumple, but high-caps can get complicated.  Don't forget to discharge battery, and turn hop-up ALL THE WAY OFF for storage (a few days or more).  Also, leave mags empty.  Leaving them loaded sets the spring, and feed problems may arise.  Also make sure to leave the Mechbox spring in a rested state (you have probably heard this before).  Fire semi-auto once or twice with charged battery to release it.  Finally, (mot sure if I already said this) wipe any extraneous sil from the outside of the gun.  It collects dust like a magnet.  I also disconnect my battery, turn off all scopes, accessories, etc.  Common sense stuff, but it makes all the difference.  Ask the vets for more details.  This is just from experience of having my M4 for less than a year.  Oh yeah, and with GBB's leave mag empty of gas (save for a small ammount), and lube all rubber areas, very well.  Pay special attention to the mag nozzles, and any seals in the internal parts.  Good luck, and shoot responsibly!

mikey added a 9.6v mini in his M4 with little modification to the PAQ-4C.  I believe PACO added one to his G36C!!  add on cell to a 8.4v mini, and you're all set.  Hope it helps.

I got an M4 you can use!  Stock, but in perfect working order.  Identical to mine, red dot, RIS foregrip, etc.  Similar to yours if my memory is true.  PM either Pancho or me for more info.  Still not sure where we will be going, but its a sure thing.  Hope to see you guys there!

I'm there!  Try to incorporate multiple objectives into the scenarios, so we dont have to stop all the time for re-briefing.  Sounds sweet!

Sounds cool, but you are right on as far as the drive goes.  No way I would drive 4 hours (??) to play for a few, then pack up, tired, and leave.  But the land definitely sounds exellent!  We could get some large-scale action there!  Insert here, hump it 1/2 mile to there, ambush convoy, 1 mile more that way, and assault that house to rescue so and so.  That would be cool!  Multiple objectives is the way to go!  Its better than playing one objective, then going back to base camp for another briefing.  We could totally split up into teams, and stay that way the whole time.  We could have vehicles pick up wounded or dead at pre-planned points to haul them to reinsertion point (if the terrain permits it).  I am getting way too excited here, so I am done for now.

Larada's does not have t800s!  Also, A springer at about 140 fps is nowhere near the velocity of a 270 fps AEG.  Alot of guys are upgraded beyond 350.  The springer test no longer will work for you if you want to play with the big boys!  Also, about gear, when in doubt, buy what the real pros use!  Thats what I do!  Army SF, Marine Recon, SEALs, all use top of the line.  If you can get your hands on the gear they use, you will be in great shape.  Most of the stuff they use is available through the civilian market, so acquiring sweet gear will be a snap.  And remember, save up and buy good gear instead of alot of crap.  You DO get what you pay for with that cheap knock-off HK gear.

Ps, and if you got 500 bux, when will you be buying my Glock?  hmm...

I agree that you get what you pay for.  But that is a little extreme!  Maybe if I won the lottery.  I'd rather load up my M4 with every possible sweet accessory, with a touch of my good taste of course :).  Or maybe mod a TM M16 to the M16 A4, with full length Rail system, or make an M4 SPR (now thats SCHWING!).  I could spend 2300 bux real fast on an AR replica.  Real steel whenever possible, like an ARMS Selective Integrated Rail.  Hey Raith, I bet I could find myself an old AWS vest, or an RAV (carrier) for that ammount.  Just better ways to spend my money IMHO.  <-- 2 cents

I'm sorry, but 2300 friggen dollars for a toy gun is INSANE!!!  You can buy a real barrett for 2500.  Why not spend the money on an M1A, and have enough left over for a loaded SAW, or M4 (airsoft of course) so you can shoot your buddies.

my 2 cents

are they going to be as expensive as the BOL helmet replicaas from DENtrinity?  Or hopefully much cheaper, although 70 bux is cheaper than 400:)
