Guess you need to ask around and see if anybody lives close enough to you to let you try theirs out.  An EG700 will work just fine but you can swap in an EG1000 as well.

Oh... make sure you don't have the motor set screw turned in too tight or the drive gear will bind on the bevel gear.  If you have turned it in, then I suggest you back it out a couple turns and see if that fixes it.

Well it's either not enought juice but you said you tried other batteries, shims too tight but you said you can spin the gears easy, or the piston is binding at the rear, but you said you can move it easy as well.  It could very well be your motor then... got another one you can borrow to test it with?

Sounds like your gears are either shimmed too tight or the piston is binding are the rear most travel.  ICS mp5's tend to have that problem.  Is your gun an ICS?

A 9.6v 600mah will not turn over an m120 spring.  You need at least a 1000mah.  Go get yourself a bigger battery.

FPS is no more.  They went under.

Who told you FPS went under?  I'm curious as their web site is still up and running.

What's the mah rating of your 9.6v battery?  Just because it's 9.6volts dosen't necessarily mean it will do the job.  You need a high mah rating as well.

I know it's airsoft yellowboy... unfortunately for you their modeled after REAL guns and therefor the mags and magwells are the same.  Now if you're going to spend the freaking money to buy a new metal body and turn it into a G3 then why don't you just sell it and buy a G3 and cut the barrel down???   In the end it's going to cost you almost as much as buyin a new AEG anyway.

Airsoft is by no means any secret... just pick up the newspaper and you'll read all about how some kid with an airsoft or softair gun got into some kind of trouble with it.  The people than need to know about it will find out one way or another, word or mouth or by accident like some of us did.

Go ahead and give Paco a shout and see what he has to say.  The only problem I see right now is that he'll want to review anything that you put the AA name on before it gets posted and he's been pretty busy with his new job so you could be waiting quite some time.

How do you plan to mange this ezine so that as it builds with more and more articles/reviews so that people don't have to sift through countless pages to find what they want?  To me it doesn't sound any easier than coming here, performing a search, (yes that's right the little search feature up above that nobody bothers to use) and going from there?  If you build it they will come... hopefully.

We could really promote AA to an even more respectable platform by having our own online magazine, not for sale, just for viewing for free.

AA already has a very good respectable name in the Airsoft community.  Just ask anyone that has attended a major event and they'll tell you.  Arizona has always done it's best to do so.   An online ezine isn't going to do squat to add to that.  If you have a review you'd like to write up or an article to post then go for it.  We always welcome that sort of thing here.

You can do all that now... what would be the difference?
