CO2/ Gas is cheaper :) you don't need to buy gas really like you would in paintball. You don't have a huge hopper in your face either.

Phoenix AZ airsoft playr
« Reply #618 on: August 29, 2007, 03:44:10 PM »
:-({|=  Whats up I'm Emrick I am a musician (drummer) currently living in Mexico working at an art gallery. This is great fun and all but i must shoot people with my gun to have any real fun which is why i prefer airsoft 2-1    [smilie=armata_pdt_36.gif] to shooting people with potato gun. kids, don't! its a joke.   Anyway, No militairy exp. PLayed paintball once. Like first person shooter video games does that count as experience. Anyway i'm going to be in AZ soon and i wanted to hook up with some dudes and go out to sedona or wherever and play. 3v3, 4v4 whatever we could come up with. Anybody down?

I have been trying airsoft ever since my friend in 4th grade got a crappy Spider paintball gun and I got one too. Ever since then I have gotten a lot of guns but am just now geting into the high end guns, CA, TM, ICS, etc. I am really looking forward to playing with some better players than my regular friends.

Andruszka reporting
« Reply #620 on: September 23, 2007, 01:33:23 AM »
My name is Nicholas Andruszka.  Im currently a student at NAU as a ROTC cadet.  I hope that in 3 years I will earn my commission into the US Army and become an Infantry officer.  At first I was a paintball player, but when I discovered airsoft and the intense realism that came with it, I was hooked.  Airsoft's realism of both weapons and tactics will hopefully aid me in improving my leadership skills.  I started out with a JG AK-47, and became the unofficial Al-Qaida of the team.  I soon transfered over to the M16A2, which I currently own.  Tactically, I like close encounters; hard, fast, and withdraw before the enemy can concentrate their forces and counter attack.  Im a fan of any book, film, field manual, or novel that deals with warfare, and leadership.  I hope to get into Airborne school this summer, and maybe Air Assualt later on.  I tend to just shut up and listen to what Im being told, but Im not afraid to be "high speed" when I know what Im doing.

Anyways, Im glad I found this site and hope to be a part of many more airsoft campaigns to come.  Feel free to contact me whenever to talk about whatever.

I will always place the mission first
I will never accept defeat
I will never quit
I will never leave a fallen comrade

HOOAH

Learning to deal with heat
« Reply #622 on: October 02, 2007, 05:28:45 PM »
Hey everyone,

I'm Mike, just freshly moved into Arizona chasing a job opportunity and a chance at a different location than where I grew up and went to school, way up in the Northeast, Connecticut and New York.

I have been an airsoft player for almost four years now, no other military or paintball background.  Became a big part of organizing the New York leagues and was part of the milsim German paratrooper-themed team Oct Luft until I got crazy enough to try and brave the desert.

Hopefully I will get to meet the lot of you sometime, I am currently living in Tempe, and hoping to get in on some of the action!

Regards,

Mike Siekman

My names israfael, and i'm just looking for a new hobbie after my last one (sca) died off.  i've known about airsoft for some time now, but never had the time, money, or opportunity to start until now.  i'm really into self improvment of all kinds. i have no military background though i work in security. i live in phoenix, but i camp and hike all over the state.  i'm really looking forward to learning as much as i can about this interesting world.

My name is Kodiak. I'm 16, and took after Airsoft after I bought my first gun, a very... very bad P90. I have no real field experience, just a few backyard wars, but I've loved it since the start. Now that I have two good guns and a basic understanding of the sport, I feel the urge to go out for a real skirmish.

Hi! I am Jay. I used to be involved with airsoft back in NY. I was an airsoft retailer and have currently put the whole business on the sidelines. I might pick it back up at some point, but for now I just would like to get involved in some games in the Glendale area.

im Tom, AKA M80. im 17 and i have been into airsoft at some level (mostly a small one before now) for about 5 years. i like CQB combat best, and am getting an MP5 as such. i live in the city of Maricopa (westish of Casa Grande) and would love to find others in my area to play with/against!

i found airsoft through paintball, but loved it more. i love mil-sim and tactics. i have studied some guerilla tactics also, and enjoy employing them from time to time.
