AEG's / Kinda Funny...
« on: April 19, 2003, 06:30:40 PM »
I have had my AE mp5 since christmas and while doing some work on the wiring, i noticed that they neglected to put a fuse in.  Instead they simply touched the two connecters where the fuse was supposed to go.  So if the red wire moved 1mm in the opposite direction the gun would stop working, what a pain in the ass.  Tokyo Marui here i come!

« on: April 17, 2003, 11:35:49 PM »
As some of you might already know, I plan on putting a psg-1 barrel in my AK47 once i buy the dragunov kit.  I have heard that i need a bore-up cylinder to help with the new barrel, can someone please explain to me what the bore-up cylinder will do?  Thanks in advance.

Accessories & Gear / Marui Muzzle Velocity Reduction Adapter
« on: February 13, 2003, 03:53:54 PM »
Well as some of you know have one gun. It came shooting 350fps and i need to get it below 300 so that it will be allowed in the cqb games.  I am planning on buying a 14mm counter-clockwise adapter and puting a marui decelerator on.  I would just like to know if any of you have had experience with these.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

*Just as a side note, i thought it would be cool if i could use the gun outdoors at 350fps then before i entered a building screw on the decelerator and use the same gun inside.

Accessories & Gear / BDU Question
« on: January 20, 2003, 05:24:08 PM »
I recently bought a full set of mossy oak hunting camo and i was wondering if i am allowed to use it in the AA events?  If i have to buy a set of BDU's i will but i would like to know if you guys allow hunting camo first before i go spend my hard earned cash.  Thanks for your time and i hope to be at the next event.

This whole topic is part of the reason i decided to sell my stuff and wait for a couple years before i start back up.  For the most part kids are immature and it ruins it for the few kids that can handle mature stuff (i.e. airsoft).  It is a great sport and i would hate to see it go down the drains because of some punk kids playing with aeg's in appartment complexes.  Hopefully the sport does not get banned and the adults are still able to enjoy it.

<br />Part of the reason im selling all of my airsoft stuff...  ...is because i want a vw corrado. [:D]
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

You SURE you want one of those?  Don't you have a new VW Golf?  VW hasn't made the Corrado in about 10 years (I think 94 was the last year).
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

Yes 94 was the last year they were madarrel, and make sure everything is smooth, and then go out back to shoot it.  Up close (~25-30 feet) I can get a full mag within 3-4 inches, without a hitch.  When I extend that range to about 40 feet, I start to notice some inconsistencies.  This may simply be the pistols limitations.  This is with .2 gram Excel, and Green Gas (white and green camo can).  I still love it!  I was considering purchasing a TM Mk23 NBB set, but decided against it after I looked at my old M9 sitting there on my desk.  It was staring right back as if to say, "I know you won't get rid of me.  I know you love me, and I love you!  I am beautiful, I was one of your first, we have history."  I don't know if it's bad to have a GBB speak to me, but if it keeps up that kind of talk I will keep it forever!
