The red dot is great for IPSC, but you need to practice a lot to get a quick sight picture.

I think its a great gun!  Teaches you to make each shot to count and be tactical.  When I shot a lot of IPSC and was referred to as a "Hose Master" because of my spray and pray... then spray again technique.  I switched to a Taurus 608 8-Shot .357 (converted for 'Moon-Clips').  Changed my game, made me think about reloads, and make every shot count.

1) i agree that single shots really make you think about taking caution with great care. because you save ammo, and with that you save money. and it also makes you look like a bad ass if you can drop an opponent with one shot instead of 5+ shots.

2) your .357 kicks some serious ass.

When you Shoot or practice do you shoot .357 magnum or .38 special rounds?

good question!  I've always used .38's (I reload ammo), problem is since the .38 is shorter than there is a 'burn ring' inside each chamber of the cylinder.  You can still load .357's but after you fire its a REAL pain ejecting them.

I bought it more for competition shooting than hunting.

Video looks a little fake, the barrel in the bottom right doesn't have the same shadowing as the guy or the targets, looks like it was added.
