Why? Several reasons.

#1 I'm tired of the attitudes, people around here seem to just want to play airsoft so they can try and be in charge. They break the rules or don't enforce them, then when something goes wrong they just point fingers and bitch.

#2 Everyone is more interested in trying to act like "MR. Tough Guy" instead of being a meaningful human being. It's like an elementary school playground "You're a fag!", "NO! You're a fag!" Grow up people.

#3 My GF has refused to play. I'm sure alot of you don't care, but she attended 2 games, and in her words "I can go to daycare if I want to be around children, it's a hell of alot cheaper".

#4 I'm heading to Washington state anyway, so there's little reason to be tempted to enter into any further pointless arguments here.

There have been a few of you that it's been fun to be around, it's just highly unfortunate that you are in the extreme minority.

General Airsoft Discussion / How to force a group to stick together

Make all your groupies wear half of this unit, heh

Anyone know of the reverse of this that would go off if it's within range of another unit?

AEG's / Systema
« on: March 04, 2007, 10:05:08 AM »
I'm curious, is there a reason not to buy/use a Systema gun if you can afford it?

I keep seeing everyone talk about upgrading something with Systema parts, but little talk about using their stock weapons.

Thanks

I got a nice Rebel XT I plan on taking out to a few games, and would rather not get shot at, heh.

A year later and i'm still no closer to a new gun :( so I throw myself on the mercy of the forums.

I'm trying to find something that's REALLY quiet, literally dead silent at 30'. I'm assuming you can always put some form of silencer on a muzzle, but i'm not sure what type of "guts" would fit the bill here.

It would be nice if it had more range than the normal M1A1 folks seem to be carrying.

Size isn't a major issue, large and bulky isn't terrific but acceptable.

Accuracy is always nice, but not critical.

Price isn't much of an issue.

Someone mentioned the idea of a bolt-action spring sniper rifle, but I haven't been able to get a look at one to see how quiet it is. A blowgun would be perfect, something like this:

But i've only seen a handful of series references to an airsoft blowgun.

Thanks

Figured you guys might want to hear this. Makes me ill.

I saw this at the 35th ave and Bethany Home Road store, apparently it's 16' extended and 36" or so compacted.

I figured someone might want to grab a few for objectives and respawn areas. Sale ends 6-11-06 (Kinda blurry)

Let's say under $800

AEG's / Auto Electric Pistols
« on: April 27, 2006, 08:12:19 PM »
Are there any electric pistols out there that don't suck?

I'd go up to an MP5 if I had to, but i'd rather not.

Thanks

General Airsoft Discussion / 3 "local" Airsoft domains to get rid of.
« on: March 26, 2006, 08:17:50 AM »
I have:

AIRSOFTPHOENIX.COM
AZAIRSOFT.COM
PHXAIRSOFT.COM

Free to a good home. (They expire in august)

(IM me with which one you want, and what you'd use it for)

Thanks.

I'm looking to get the quietest gun I can find.

Be it AEG or gas, rifle or pistol. (An AEG rifle would be the best)

Finding that my current M4's are just WAY too noisy for me. (I'm also assuming there's not much way to make a CA M4 much quieter as far as the gearbox goes)

Thanks.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Military dropping death benefits?
« on: January 28, 2006, 05:57:45 AM »
Has anyone heard anything about this:

"ARMY TO DROP DEATH BENEFITS?
Wednesday, January 25, 2006 - FreeMarketNews.com

The Army has begun to notify soldiers that if they are killed wearing Pinnacle's Dragon Skin Body Armor, their families won’t be eligible to collect death benefits, according to Defense Watch Magazine.

Anonymous soldiers are writing Defense Watch to tell them that the Army has prohibited the use of any commercially available armor unless the Army gives it to them. Not only will soldiers lose eligibility to $400,000 in life insurance benefits, but they could also be subject to disciplinary action if they are caught with non-approved armor. Soldiers have been paying about $6,000 to buy their own Dragon Skin because it is considered more protective than the standard Interceptor OTV armor issued by the Army.

The Army claims that armor will slow soldiers down and make them vulnerable to attack. However, as reported earlier by FMNN, a recent study found that extra armor around the upper body would have saved the lives of at least 80 percent of the soldiers killed in Iraq."

Personally I think if this is true it's one of the worst DOD policies to date.

Accessories & Gear / Looking for tan 1" strap buckles.
« on: December 15, 2005, 07:21:46 PM »
Anyone know where I might find these in phoenix? (The quick-release clip type)

REI has them in black, as does the surplus store on 35th south of Indian School but I haven't yet found any in tan.

Thanks
