Bambi, Thumper, etc. are trademarked and copyrighted by Disney. Be careful of the use of those characters, as it may bring upon yee the wrath of corporate litigation. Other than that, it's a nice, simple start to a team site. More information also wouldn't hurt!

All these new kid teams are using the same cookie-cutter for their airsoft websites.

on a **********.webs.com page, I doubt they have full access to CSS and html coding (or whatever they're using for websites these days). If they do... shame on them for not being professional web designers and using a cookie cutter design instead! lol.

As for actual feedback... I'd avoid thumper as well. Maybe post an artistic rendering of an M79 instead?

Results and stats will more than likely just turn into a pissing match, I would avoid it. At the very least drop the 'stats'.

Are you the "Bambi Forrest Troopers"? If so, I will take a moment to remind you that Forest only has one 'r' in it, unless you're referencing something else with the word Forrest (such as Forrest Gump, or Forrest, Alabama) besides some wooded area.

Posting a personal phone number online is almost always a poor choice.

Run a spell-check on your about us section.

Lastly, are you in Denver? If so, why are you posting in the Airsoft Arizona forums? -the only member in the Members section is listed as being in Denver.

^^

To be fair, a lot of "professionals" use cookie cutters as much as anyone else.  You don't necessarily have to reevent the wheel.

Do you only post on forums in AZ? I know I don't.

It was more of a "hey, it says denver, and I see that you guys attend games in arizona" type of thing.

I use cookie cutters to make cookies... does that make me a tool? or just the cookie cutter... Im not a cookie professional in anyway either... before some one pipes up :)

The site is fine... i wouldnt be TOO worried about the disney thing... but things do happen. If your lucky, walt will come from the grave and reprimand you :) On the note of the m79... You could perhaps work the addition of a cigar/cig, a vietnam m1 helmet, and a m79 into the thumper logo... It makes him more badass, and keeps you a little away from disneys legal dept... some what. I like the logo you have going though... reminds me of a Greatful Dead patch...

Good luck, and keep on workin on your stuff. i think you should show the site to your team from there, and ask for their input.

i have a small question.. why would you choose thumper as your mascot? or whatever he is..  :-s  heh

i would suggest looking at some PHP stuff on the net, mixing that with some simple HTML can give you great results..

another route is to use a free message board system as a complete website, use a mod/portal and various other packages. SMF is absolutely great, but there are others that will work as well. that's probably the easiest way to get a semi-pro looking site, with an easy way to customize it.. (themes and such)

if you want to talk about that some more, PM me
