Crazy mosfet abusing and testing
« on: July 03, 2013, 11:37:16 PM »
Edit:

Just shot a video to show just how incredibly overkill powerful these mosfets are.  Enjoy!

Here is the second test, ramping it up even more!!!

New video 9/1/2013

Mosfet and AEG shooting underwater!!

The mosfet package dimensions are (approximately):

16.3mm x 10.7mm x 7.95mm

That's smaller than a pair of deans connectors, and can actually fit inside some gearbox shells!

Also inside a v2 lonex shell to show fitment:

The mosfet is able to run anything up to a 14.8v (it can run higher, but no warranty) battery and capable of the most demanding airsoft builds with it's International Rectifier 3034 mosfet. I only used RoHS compliant name brand components, no chinese cheap knock offs. I mostly use Panasonic, Infineon, and International Rectifier parts.

I also only use 16 gauge Alpha Wire primary wires and 24 gauge Alpha Wire secondary wire. Colors of wire that is included can and will change as my stock changes. This is some of the best wire available on the market, and it isn't cheap.

Mosfets come with approximately 5 total feet of 16 gauge Alpha wire. Also come with 2 motor connectors, 1 deans-style connector, and heat shrink tubing.

Wiring is 2.34mm in OD.

I would be interested in a couple. Would you ship them? For me it wouldn't be worth the drive to pick them up.

Yes, I would ship them via USPS flat rate padded envelopes or boxes, inside an anti static pouch.

I'll order an initial batch of 25 boards. I need to get a new smt reflow oven and waiting on a few components, but overall they should be available in a few weeks.

Very cool.

Your station definitely beats the heck out of my $5 Harbor Freight Soldering Iron. :D

Are they $20 shipped? Or $20 + shipping?

For now I'd like to only sell them locally in Az. If you need them shipped (eg: you're too far away from East Mesa to be reasonable) , I can ship 2 or more for free, otherwise it's $20 + cheapest shipping option.

Well I'm in Tucson and it would be cheaper just to ship then to drive.
