I'm sure it'd be expensive.

It would be fun to make an SPR, MK11, or one of these.

1) Using a sling may indeed increase barrel wobble, but you can combat this in a few different ways. Mainly, keep all the screws tight and clean. A metal body and/or reinforced 1 piece barrel can't hurt either. I think any increased strain on a weapon due to a sling is worth it because of the things you avoid by using the sling; ie Having to set down your weapon, dropping it, etc.

2) Wargameclub uses frames. If your going to link to something on there, open it in a new browser window to see the correct URL.

3) There are laser pointers that will work during the day, but you're looking at a lot more $. I don't feel laser pointers are useful enough in airsoft to necessitate carrying around. Day or night.

Just my .02

You're going about it all wrong, Frank. You use the firearms to protect the gas in the first place. [:P]

Yeah, Combat Missions was kinda cool. I think they used both MILES and Simunitions in the show.

There are supposedly several MICH replicas on the way. I don't think any have shown up that are available to the western world yet, though.

Well I've had these for 4 months now, and my initial observations about these gloves were premature.

I posted this on airsoftplayers.com -

quote:
...I've got a pair of BHI Hellstorms, and they're not holding up very well. Each one has several holes on the back of the hand area, [...] , mine are pilling badly too. The pre sewn finger cut points and the additional elastic gathering on the back are nice "extras," but when the rest of the glove sucks, its not a plus. I've had mine for probably 4 months, and now I wish I hadn't bought them.

These seemed really nice when I first got them, but now they're sub par. I've got a pair of USGI ones that are damn near bulletproof. The leather on them is a bit stiff now, but thats not bad for 2+ years of use.

To add insult to injury, those damn "Made in China" tags itch like hell. I cut them out and the stitching around them started to come apart.

Final verdict, stay away from these BHI Hellstorm Aviators unless you want to replace them often. The retail price on these is usually the same or more than that of most of the USGI nomex flight gloves, so just stick with those. I got mine on sale, which is probably why I bought them in the first place.

Next I'm going to get myself a pair of Hatch Operator gloves. A bit pricy, but I've read nothing bad about them.

Hmmm... So are these considered version 4s? I've seen pictures of the supposed version 3 CA Armalites with white trades. Hopefully this will all equate to CA having more quality control.

Looks great, but is that the inner barrel peeking out into the flash hider? Seems kinda strange if so.

Hey John, are you Still getting one of these? :)
