Gas Powered Guns / Re: G&G Combat Machine GBBs M4s?

Pointless like the other conversion kit, it doesn't get rid of the real deterrent of GBBRs and that's teh $60 mags.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Moderator On aa
« on: March 26, 2012, 02:32:57 PM »
I've been on this site for a long time and see no problems with how any of the moderators conduct themselves. A long time ago this site pretty much only had official AA games which were 18+, so the site had an older demographic. Now the demographics have changed to include lots of younger airsofters that ask stupid/redundant questions over and over. If you had a problem with the moderators you should bring it up with them or the site owner instead of calling them a prick in public.

Agreed. 99% of these questions have been answered and can be found by searching/googling.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: Vanguard Surrendering
« on: March 17, 2012, 12:01:07 AM »
Bailey likes to tickle himself while playing airsoft.

Point your gun call bang and move on to the next target, if you're fast enough to nab all six then congratulations if someone turns on you and does the same before you got em all then that's how it would've went down if you had pulled the trigger.

The surrender rule is purely for safety at vanguard and in general is kind of a courtesy thing, if it can be shot out or parlayed it should be. If the player is caught unaware then act how you would like to be treated if you were on the other and call a surrender on them.

APS is the original manufacturer and to be honest you'd be much better off with just about anything else in that price range.

No thats not what im saying at all bro, come out ill whoop on you with a springer... anyday

the jg wont break, I work on these things for a living..
i think i have somthing on this guy right here. who knows maby not.

But I will honestly tell you the jg is a better buy right now, unless your getting one of the new hard kicks, or high cycles.
I can guarantee you will sell that tm just like everyperson on here does, within a few months of being told to buy a tm.

Fps doesn't mean Much i can proove that anyday of the week, my custom hopup bucking design will out range a 600 fps sniper anyday at 300 fps.
My dmr, The highest fps gun i own is 440 fps..

pssh hahahaa the gear box hasnt changed... aHHHHHAHAHAHA THE TM, is unreinforced in everygun they make, with exception on the type 89, the high cycles, and there new hard kicks, even there version 3s cant handel mre than a 120 spring..
At least JG reinforces there gearbox's, I have a jg thats short stroked to 8 teeth, m170 spring.. I can dry fire it all day if i want. Its one of the most rock solid stock version 2's iv ever used.

echo1 alone has like 6 designs, and generations Of the Same gear box!, tm has that same thing it was when it first came out into the market.

care to share your secrets on this custom bucking?

yeah bro if ur shimming is correct it hould be able too pull that no problem, should be able to with a 8.4 too

and dude, seriously check out a good policarb piston man.. There lighter, and i'v had a few that lasted for years.. dead serious..

he's right, the problem with metal teeth on a piston is that if something goes wrong your gears may be on the losing end of that battle, which would you rather replace a fairly inexpensive piston or your gears(one of the more expensive items in your gear box)

Tokyo Marui and KWA are great GBB makers. KJWs are decent too, but if I were you I would try and find a KWA.

KWA is easiest to find parts for too.  And KWA will service their guns if you want them too, here in the USA.

KWA has great customer service and its easy enough to pick out the parts from the diagrams on their site and order what you need, they also have a pretty good warranty on their guns which actually renews if you have to send your gun into them for repairs.

You brought your replica into vanguard for repair, it has been here for at least 6 months, the number you left is disconnected. Please come claim it, bring your ID! If anyone knows Justin or how to reach him please send me a PM

Thx,
Rusty.

Are you going for realism or function? Every GBB I have owned stopped working at some point. I use primarily a NBB TM Mk23 and it hasnt failed me in 3 years ever! In any case I would go Green gas as stated C02 can be a hassle sometimes.

TM FTW! I've had my P226 for over 5 years now and only had to replace a trigger spring.

Gas Powered Guns / Re: leaving gas in a magazine.

Leave just a little in, enough for a couple shots so your seals don't dry out but don't leave them fully charged.

AEG's / Re: g&g blowback help
« on: September 28, 2011, 12:00:26 PM »
personally if I was you though I would disable the blowback, I have an G&G combat machine Dune Knight, and the blowback is kind of cool, but it's another part that can just break. Plus there is a debate if it takes more energy out of your piston and battery. Although I haven't disabled mine yet, mostly because the takedown is a little different than anything else i've seen.

It's just an air piston on the top of the gearbox, just takes a small bit of air from the cylinder itself, If you really want to disable it you'd have to block out the hole for the air seal with something or throw a new cylinder in there.
