'absent' is one way to put it, lol.

as for value, that is realy up to the end user. this gb has been designed with many features with input from many techs. this gb wont snap off the front end like many of the 'zink' gb's out there. some of you may not know of this problem, many of you have probly experienced your gb shell breaking in this manner. technicaly you dont realy need this gb. there are many things that can be done to a stock gb to make it last and handle field ready builds. this gb is for this people that are willing to spend the money to have the absolute best in their guns.

i have 2 mthaynes gb's that i paid aprox $300each, to me it was worth it to have these units, to you it might not be that is a choice you will have to make.

i have not heard anyone complaining about them
