It is gonna be me +1.

Anybody happen to have an extra AEG they'd be willing to loan a newbie going to their first game?  My buddy wants to come along and I don't have much more than a gbb to loan him.

I've got a cheapo MP5 I can bring, it's not much but it's something.

Even though I'm happy that we've got more people, I think we're going to need to balance it out. Even with the ACU guys tan is severely outnumbered, can some of you green guys bring some desert BDUs if you've got them? I'm bringing both sets, but dressing out in desert MARPAT.

have people checked lately whether we will be allowed to play out there?  I know they announced a full scale closure of tonto national forest on friday morning.

"Tonto National Forest: The Mogollon Rim from Strawberry to the Fort Apache Reservation will be closed starting Friday. The Pinal Mountains south of Globe also will be closed then."

Someone tell me that this excludes four peaks...

The teams will be fine the way they are.

According to this map... uh, maybe not

http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main ... panelbtn=2

Also, check this... Appearently this is just the northern most part of tonto national forrest, that borders coconino....

http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coconino/recrea ... enic.shtml

Fourpeaks is farther south no? And the pinal moutians south of globe are well.... south of globe, so were fine on that end... Basically, everything around fourpeaks is off limits...

Also, Coconino (their site) when you go there a pop up comes up saying the park is closed completely... The same is NOT true for Tonto...

Last thing - Silverman called on the 22nd... It appears that all of the fire notices were put up on the 21st.... So since he got the OK, we should be OK.....

Regardless, I'm showing up anyway. Still I hope the restriction doesn't extend to the 4 peaks area.

Sorry, for the late post.  But my team would like to go.  We'll have about 8 people for woodland and 1 person for ACU's.

Guys, I had a friggin blast playing today.  Good to meet a bunch of cool new people and kick some tan ass.  Highlight of the day for me was surrendering 2 people at once  [smilie=armata_pdt_36.gif]

Thanks to Silverman for getting this all set up.  The first scenario was pretty cool, if a little bit confusing to understand.

Commissar, thanks for letting my buddy use that M4.  He really had fun playing today, and it looks like he'll be joining games from now on.

I had a great time, cept I found out on my return home that my Apt got broke into while I was gone.  Among the stolen items; My sons Marui PSG1, and a busted KWA Glock 17.

Waiting on the cops and getting bored

Anyway, lots of new faces, and lots of fun, and lots of heat, hehe.

Be well all,
Charlie

Damn that sucks Charlie, but I think it'll suck more for the criminals when they realize its not a real gun and are summarily busted by the cops.
