hey, i was wondering if anyone knows how to fix an AEG? the problem is that- it doesnt shoot but makes a loud screechy-gringing noise. anyone know what to do?

Probably one of your gears is stripped. I had the same thing happen to my M4. But I may be wrong.

EDIT: post this in the troubleshooting section not July game ad AEGs sections  :lol:

thats what i was thinking too, i opened the mechbox to check them, hey seemed fine, but it  it was a pain to put back together, and now it  sounds like the motor is just spinning around. lol

Try this....there is a little allen screw on the bottom of the pistol grip. Turn this clockwise about a quarter turn and pull the trigger in semi-auto. If nothing happens turn it another quarter turn clockwise and pull the trigger again. It almost sounds like your motor pulled or slid down the grip and lost contact with the gears. There are also cases where the screw had fallen out and is lost.
