If it isnt ANSI rated it can fail under airsoft use if you dont buy rated glasses/googles your probably going to go blind when they fail to protect you just buy Rated eyewear and youll be fine.

Here are a few pics of us at LCV with an assortment of goggles and Mil/LE spec glasses. All ANSI rated.
Mikey our Fearless leader with Wiley XL1's on

Me & Skylar with Wiley SG1's and XL1's.

SINJIN with Wiley XL1's.

Notice everyone in this pic has there Oakley M frames (with the exception of the guys that are wearing their glasses)? #1 choice for lots of Military and Law enforcement agents.

All of these goggles and glasses in this picture are sealed around the eyes. Must have at John Lu's events.

All of these glasses in these pictures are ANSI rated.

That website is pricy...

Safetyglassesusa.com actually has very good prices.

Here's what I use.

ESS Profile Turbofans.  They are pricey, but worth it.

As for goggles that don't scratch easily, I think how you treat them is more important then the scratch resistance of the lens.  If you are careful to clean them with a clean soft cloth, and rinse any dust or other particles off first, any quality lens should not scratch.

Fortunately, they ship to all 52 states. Where do these people live?

I've succumbed to your enthusiasm about these military-grade Wiley-X goggles. I ordered the SG-1s, a hard carrying case, and two replacment lenses.

$45 on eBay. (Hey, hey! It's a GOOD place to buy stuff, all right?)
