Well, depending on what you buy, they're not bad. Their earlier offerings were not the best, but, they're turning out some decent stuff now. You could say they've finally hit their stride.

An SRC was my first gun.  They're okay, but mine eventually died and after having it in for repairs about 6 times in a row, I gave up.

Go for a Marui or a CA.

And some of it still isn't.

Once again i reccomend research. Now i will tell you that i have owned 3 SRC M4's. Overall, i found them to be reliable guns. My brother has one too. As do at least three of my former teammates. Never any real trouble.

**Shameless plug**
Im selling an SRC M4 if you are interested.

if you can look up a price, you can read a review. Try doing so.

how come on wgc the src's are like 190-225$ but here http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=W&Category_Code=AEG_SRC
there so much more expensive? are they different?
And also..can someonepoint out some key differences between a ca and a src like interenals and externals...thanks again  :D

Keep in mind, WGC is in Hong Kong, so shipping is going to be around 70 bucks. They are a great company though.

Aye, Shipping from HK can be expensive.  Back when I wanted an M4 SRC's were one of my first choices however As a gun they are ok guns.  Probably not the most reliable but after some choice upgrade parts its going to be on par with most other stock guns.  (Simple stuff such as replacing the motor, wiring harness and reshimming the gearbox)  and leaving the rest stock it would be good.  If your looking at shooting at 400 FPS w/ .2g bb's then your gonna have to replace the whole internals.  You could even use those "crappy" (Crappy is in quotes because they arnt) TM Piston and Piston head if you'd like.  The other thing I noticed is that the hop up unit (like on most armalites) requires some serious thought too.  maybe replacing the hop up sleeve and nub?  Its a good project platform.  However if an armalite is what you wish I'd suggest getting either an ICS or CA armalite.  Either will suit you just as well.  If you'd like more details you can PM me with more questions or anyone else on the forum and i'm sure they'd be glad to help you out.

The important thing to remember about AEG's is to go to a store and hold each gun before buying!!!!
