You can register for the forums on the site now if you have not yet done so yet and I think enlistment opens today sometime, though not sure if it'll be this evening or what...

Correction, looks like its live now.  Click Enlist from the left menu and at the bottom of the page under the TOS is an 'I Agree' link, looks like that kicks off the registration form.

EDIT: sorry, I jumped the gun, the form appears but when you try to submit it you get shown a 404 error page.  Apparently something is not quite setup all the way yet...

The Museum of Military History is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and your patronage to this event ( Balkan Hammer ) will help with the projects we are working on. Our over-all goal is to raise funds for the construction of a Museum facility. Funds raised by this event are for the use of Camp Navajo Army National Guard Training Depot and other associated event costs. The main focus is to cover the transport cost for our MI-24 Hind D coming over from England ( Yes, a real, operational MI-24 ) This is how non-profits operate, through the donation of funds or through events such as this. I am asking for your support in this project by attending our event. We will bring the MI-24 to future airsoft events.

A Little about me. I have held several WWII battle reenactments at Camp Navajo in the past ( see www.museumofmilitaryhistory.org ) but never an airsoft event. Mark is trying to help me understand the airsoft community in promoting this event to you all as is Chris Kahlert, who is providing the HMMWV's, M800 series 5 ton trucks for the IFOR. For the Serbs, I have a couple of military vehicles. For your admission fee you get a modern barracks facility, actual military vehicles and meals Friday and Saturday night.

I served as an 11m in the Army from 90'-94'. Was deployed to Iraq for Operation Desert Storm. Kept my nose clean, did my job and got out after my 4-year enlistment was up ( my wife didn't like the moving around so much ). Now I formed the non-profit to raise funds for the Museum facility I wrote about. Currently I am in helicopter flight school so that I can eventually fly the MI-24. I'm already flying solo so no problems there.

Primary: Serbian Special Forces- Tiger Stripe
Secondary: Bosnian Serbs- Non IFOR pattern

Is it Oct. yet?

To everyone, your registrations are coming in.

Ryan, you better watch out. I'll be done with Helicopter flight school by the end of August here and I will hunt you down with the Hind. Even worse, Chris is gonna be the gunner. We have to figure out how we can mount that airsoft mini-gun in the nose turret. Ryan vs. MI-24 Hind D in an airsoft event...this will be interesting. We're gonna have our guys on the ground tie a smoke grenade to your back, tie your arms down and have you run around so we can find you. Then Chris is going to let you have it with the mini gun. I do not expect your team mates to provide you with much help when the Hind comes calling for you. I'll be going over to England the end of September for a week ( if everything is on schedule for the restoration ) to get a class on flying the Hind. I'll take it up and fly it around the British countryside for a few days to get familiar with it before it gets dis-assmbled and shipped over here to Chandler. Anyway, we are looking forward to making your life difficult Ryan.

This event will be a force on force where the IFOR and Serb commanders are tasked with taking and holding key objectives to expand their area of influence on the battle field. During that engagement, several situations will arise in which the commanders must allocate forces to deal with.

Thats nuts.. When I get back in OCT I am taking the training course of 18 months to learn to fly  helicopters ! I can't wait.
