Airsoft Innovations "AI Tornado" Hand Grenade
« on: March 05, 2008, 11:44:55 AM »
I have mentioned this a couple times after the show, but they have finally made some more info public.  One note on their video, it's a pre-producution model that was using water as a pressure system.  That is the liquid you see spraying out with the BB's.  The production model does not have any liquid in it.  I repeat, it's just gas and BB's.

It's finally up! Sorry for the wait, I had to finalized some copyright licensing issues before I could publish my video to web. My grenade product info page is finally up and will be progressively updated as we near launch. Stay tuned for more grenade videos and product information. Generating site content takes a lot of time and we're already going crazy gearing up for the manufacturing run.

There are two video resolutions. A low (sub 2Mb) and a higher resolution (19Mb) version. We've got more video content that's being prepared for launch soon.

I'm trying to get one for a demo/review, if I can, I will probably give demo's behind Gearbox if Ron is cool with that.

I don't have a problem, if you can get one. Any mention of a price yet?

wow that looks awesome. To much money to pay for one though for me, and I don't think people really use them in serious games.

I think this is what most people think of when they hear the price.

Yeah, but there's no parts to loose like with the Deep Fire and PFI 'nades which is a huge plus.  You could always tie a big orange ribbon to it or something.

Would kinda suck if you don't want to be spotted.... or trying to be stealthy

Hand grenades aren't really stealth weapons to begin with but either way there's a pretty limited number of ways to make it hard to lose.

Are you shitting me?

Maybe if they were 1/2 to 1/4 of this price.

True, but that's also do to them being completely ineffective and the fact that you WILL have to buy replacement parts.
