Combustion pistol
« on: April 22, 2008, 04:10:45 PM »
I get super bored, and this is what becomes of it. It's basically a miniature potato gun, that fires airsoft .2g bbs with paper or potato wadding, muzzle loaded. Unfortunately the threads on the cap wore out, and it can't contain pressure (blew out on me 4 times, as loud as a gunshot, lol). Yeah, it looks like a taped piece of crap, but when it did work, it worked well. Very sturdy and accurate (red dot sight isn't on it). About as much recoil as a .32ACP. I chrono'd it at an average (depending on fuel load) of about 425-490 fps. Did I mention it makes a blue muzzleflash? :D

Same time I was going to make a video, it started blowing the cap off.

(yay for crappy pieces of cyberguns)

Pardon for the HUEG IMAGES

I can just imagine you going to a rebel union game, your pinned with that as your last gun so you fire it off at the first guy you see  and the BB wizzes right past his head as he yells "HOLY S***T WTF WAS THAT!!!" hahaha

I'll be building a potato launcher soon that will fire shoulder mounted, perhaps it may see light in an airsoft game as  artillery, mortar or anti-personnel. My friend up in Idaho uses spud cannons in their fights. I'll draw up a schematic of how it works later. :)

My aeronautical expert cousin built a potato turret that can shoot a potato a quarter mile.  I didn't believe him either, until we shelled the golf course down the road from his home.  Careful with those things man.  You probably shouldn't be shooting people.

I\'ve touched that gun with my hand which had touched my penis. I hope you did not touch your mouth after touching that gun. That would mean your had put part of my penis in your mouth.

I don't know if you really want to be firing potato cannons toward people or houses (I don't know how much farther the field is back than before but there were houses in the close vicinity of the games when I went) those cannons can do some serious damage though.

I'd bring that out in a second. Just put on a shemagh, start praising allah, and firing wildly into the air. I wouldn't last long, but I sure would have fun!
