BALKAN HAMMER II - November 7th-9th, 2008

Balkan Hammer II is scheduled for the tentative dates of October 24th-26th again up at Camp Navajo. We are looking at November 7th-9th as an alternate in case needs of the Army require us to move our dates. I do not, however, anticipate the heavy snow at this time of year that required us to push back Red Dagger. We'll keep you posted and update the website shortly.

Hopefully this time there will be enough German types to field a KSK or KSK themed group?

It will at least be a couple of months before a date is set.  Plan ahead!  Take both weekends off!! ;)

Staff will have final say but the standing rule of thumb is that if you can field 6+ guys in the appropriate uniform and impression for the event they will consider writing it in.

If the dates stay in October I'll be back out along with most of the Hawks (should field 8 to 10 this roudn out) to reprise our role as the heroic Russian 45th ORP VDV.  If the dates slips to the alternate, I'll probably be out but most of the Hawks should still be good for it.

I plan on being there.  October is a busy month for me this year, but I don't have anything on THAT weekend. 8)

I'm skipping OP:Irene this year due to location, so this will be my big fall game.
