I never really understood why some guys want to be recruited on a team so badly. The way I see it, I'd like to know who I'm playing with first before continuing to play with them again. Then again I don't think I could ever really commit to a team in this sport again. I just enjoy getting out there and playing when I can as my availability is random at best (not good for a team) and I just think it's fun to play with different people each time. My advice I guess is to just go out there and play! if you meet a group that you like and that like you there you go. But you shouldn't need a team to have fun airsofting. Go out and play!

Ditto

Having a team is very much so a hassle. I've been on teams my whole life and now that I'm free I have no intention of rejoining one for anything. This is not the military to everyone complains(and you can't stop them) about how much time they don't have or whatever excuse it may be. It just seems most people, like this, seem to get things backwards. You find a group of people you enjoy airsofting with THEN form a team. That way everyone already knows everyone and what they are like or wear. Rebel Union has a good group of core players and large games are great for meeting Milsimers.

If you like ACUs just complete the kit and play. Don't let what others require stop you from wearing/replicating what you want. In the end you play for your own reasons, not theirs.

Seriously that's how it started out for me, I just always airsofted with Charlie and Art, then we started banding together with some other guys who we always worked well with.

Not that I can think of (from a legal standpoint). Seriously the only spots I enjoy airsofting at are places like 4 peaks, Sycamore Creek, Mt. Ord, and Bloody Basin.
