...he said it and considered that location a good place to play, even though there are signs preventing it...

Hey all,

Here is the email I receives from BLM this morning:

Your email concerning BLM lands and organizing air soft events was directed
to me.  Sorry for the delay.

If it just casual use no permits are needed.  Just make sure that you are
on BLM land, and not on private land or State of Arizona lands.  In the
event that you are setting up a formal air soft event you might need a
recreational permit from the BLM.  Call the BLM Phoenix District Office at
623-580-5500 for the necessary instructions on how to file a permit.

Thanks

Kata

What giant hole? Is this private land? Because if it's not...then it;s illegal to play in city limits

Im glad to see your email Katabatik but I am still concerned. If you read the BLM web site Wilderness Areas (which is what your are talking about) says in big letters LEAVE NO TRACE! which begs the question would they really let you play airsoft considering you are shooting plastic (i know its not that big of an impact on the environment, even with BioBBs but its the gov). This also means your not going to be able to build anything its going to only be only natural cover. I know that some of us leave a mess the BLM Wilderness areas are much more looked after then State Land and you will get tickets for littering.

I'm not meaning to be a pain but its really hard to play legal without buying or renting land.

Also im curious what would you guys pay to play weekly on a place with bathrooms and built cover?
