Fair enough.  Ed has had good luck with his CA mags and I had no problems with the G&Ps at all.  The CA standards won't end up in my pouches again, though.

I have 3 CA mags and they work fine for me in my TM SR16. On the other hand I bought a couple of the new G&P "mid-caps" and can't get them to feed for crap!! Go figure.

The Airsoft Elite mags are actually very nice and a bit cheaper than Marui's.

<br />ALso, the CA mags may work better in CA AEG's.  AFAIK, the AEG Kyle was using them in was a TM AEG.
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

We tried them in 3 different guns, Kyle, mine and Bolt's.  They didn't work in either.

The CA high caps and standards are apples and oranges.  The high caps work, but I question the material they're made of.  I've only seen one that broke and that was the plastic on the winding wheel where the spring connected.  The standards on the otherhand... at least the 10 that Kyle bought all had weak springs, to the point that you could load them and pull back on the release catch and nothing would come out, or maybe a couple would come out and that would be it.  I took a couple of them and stretched out the springs to see if that would work and it did to a point, but it so much of a hassle to do it that it just wasn't worth the time and effort.

Well I just got my 5 CA mags in the mail. I loaded and unloaded each of them 2 times, and they seem to work just fine. The springs actually seem stronger than the ones in my other magazines. I will test them out this weekend and see how they work in my guns and post the results.

Sweet, glad to hear it.  Sorry if we got you all concerned about them.  Maybe the batch Legs bought was just a fluke?

If you can keep it in your mind, Frank, it'd be nice if you posted an update as to the working condition of these mags after they've had some more use.  Maybe early next year?  An after action report, as it were.
