If you haven't already assigned squad leaders for the Mercs, I'll volunteer for one.  I know you want military training but I think I can hold my own in airsoft, I could take a younger squad.  Just putting my name in the hat,

thanks,
bryce

thanks for asking and will consider it but as marine said before.

We are going to wait somewhat to assign Squad Leaders until we can get a good amount for RSVP. It is just to see how many we want in a squad and how many squads we would like.

Oh, in regards to Mesa City Ordinances: http://mesaaz.gov/clerk/CodeBook/Table_of_Contents.aspx

But if you actually read them, you pretty much can't do anything in Mesa, LOL.

Alright I have an update on the AO. I know a lot of you are worried about getting permission to play out there.  Well Tally Defense owns the land and as of now we do have verbal permission to play at that location and I have been told that written permission could take a few weeks to get but WE DO HAVE VERBAL PERMISSION to play out there

Any update on this?
I do have some other (legal) concerns. I took a trip out there today and noticed that the parking area, Red Rock Park, has a sign stating: "This park is for Red Mountain OA (owners association) only". The sign also said no paintball (people seem to confuse paintball-airsoft), and dogs must be on a leash (which I saw no less than 4 people walking their dogs without a leash). Also, saw many hikers.

I walked around a little bit and you can tell where Red Rock Park ends, but then you are confronted with a City of Mesa sign about 'off road' vehicles.
I guess it would be nice to know that everything will fall into place.....

And more specificly here, Title 6 chapter 1 section 15 http://www.cityofmesa.org/clerk/CodeBoo ... /T6Ch1.pdf

From my own experience I would have written permission so you have on site proof when challenged instead of having to rely on "well so and so said...."  Otherwise I know these kind of things are up to the officer responding on how to handle the issue. One day one officer may be ok with it, while another day another officer is not.

So is this going to be an 18+ only op, or possibly 14+?  So far I did not see anything on age restrictions.
