I will program the unit for you with standard FRS/GMRS frequencies and can even insert a custom 7 character display name into memory so flashes a greeting or name on the display when the unit is powered on.  The only way I will 'hold' units is if they are paid in full, if paying using paypal please add +3.5% to cover the fees they charge me.  I work in Scottsdale 3 days a week near Paradise Valley Mall untill 1:30pm, this means I can make them available for pickup in Scottsdale, Red Rock, or Tucson at varying times of the week.

I am out of the model with the used batteries.  I still have 3 more refurbished units with brand new high capacity (1650mah NiMh) batterys.  These units come with the hand mic and 'dumb' wall charger as well as the handset, antennae and the brand new battery.  These units cost $150 ($10 more) which helps offset the cost of a new battery.  I can also sell these units with no battery for $120 if your so inclined to find your own battery.

I also have a few new in box hi capacity batteries for sale (1650mah NiMh) for $40 each.

I have no idea when my supplier will be able to get me another shipment of handsets but I'll update the group if/when I do.

I just ordered a Peltor Comtac 2 with the ICOM wiring setup, I would like to get one of these soon without the hand mic. I don't want to sound like a cheapo but is there anyway you can give me a deal on one, or if you have a working used one you'd sell me?

As far as a hand set...  they are all used and refurbished, Icom does not manufacturer this model new anymore.  My posted price is $150 for one with the brand new hi cap battery in it, I won't go any lower then that without additional consideration like trade value.  Your welcome to try Red Dog, he has excellent service and very nice equipment but you won't find a comparable setup cheaper through him.  Ebay is hit and miss, you can find them cheaper there some of the time but more often then not you'll end up having to purchase additional parts to get a working setup and ebay electronics are always a gamble.

I bought one on Ebay and it said it was programmed for what I was looking for. it ended up coming in completely wrong and when trying to reprogram it there were strange error messages and it wouldnt allow it to even clone over. So I just bought one from Kiley and it served me well so far, got me through LC8. It was worth what I paid for it to be working right from the get go.
