Evike.com
« on: April 03, 2009, 01:34:37 AM »
So I originally intended to order a CYMA M14 from them, but their site didn't bother to tell me it was out of stock, or that I was on back order. After a week of trying to contact by email/phone (no one would pick up, I tried every number to them) I finally got ahold of them, changed my order to the new AGM M14 and changed some other bits around, which they didn't do until the third time of actively talking with them as they change it. I'm still waiting for them to ship it.

Evike.com is absolute GARBAGE. Never buy ANYTHING from them.

Anyone else have any horror stories with them? I've had quite a few friends who have had worse than me.

Why did you order from them in the first place?

I like Evike.

Everything I ordered from them arrived before I anticipated.

I didn't learn of their troubles until afterwards; and I thought they were pretty good seeing as I ordered a mag off them and it came quick.

Yea.. Evike is more or less you get it fast or get it really late. I ordered from them twice, the first time i ordered i got my order in 3 days. The second time i ordered took about 2 - 3 weeks for my items to finally arrive. Their service is so-so, they got something back ordered on my second order and they call me first before i thought of calling them, also they told me the other items are out of stock too. The main thing i see Evike needs to improve is Customer Service and having their website update everyday so that people like us would not order something that is out of stock... If i really have to give them a rating: 1 being Bad and 5 being excellent, I would have to say it is a 3.2, in my opinion they are ok but not the best or the very worst. They just need to improve in some areas and they would probably be better.

ive ordered 2 guns from them so far and my experience has been pretty good actually. i ordered from them when they were still the ebay store so i havent gotten much from them lately. i believe there prices are worth the wait if indeed there is a back order, besides if i need some thing right away ill go to gear box. i agree with xddragonx on the customer service though... they are def lacking there.

I have always had good experiences with Evike. All of my items come in two to three days. I have not been using them lately because I use Red Gila Tactical since it is local.

I have only had one problem with them, and it was about two years ago, about a back ordered item. I used to order from them regularly, and didnt have any major problems. Their items get to Tucson in two-three days, so no complaints there. And appearently their customer service has gone from an F rating, to a B. That has to say something. If you have a problem contacting them by phone, realize that they are a large store in Cal, and they are busy. Im not condoning ignoring the phone, but you have to understand people can only do so many things at once.

Here's an easy solution, call in before you click send order.

I do that now whenever I order from Evike and haven't had a problem since.

Ive ordered from them twice in basically the same week, once on Friday and again on the following Monday. I received the first shipment on Tuesday and the next on Wednesday . I also had to contact them cause i had  a few questions about my order and they gave me great customer service. I have had noting but a great experience with them. I also recommend them.

Now airsoft Gi was another story, i ordered from them on the same Friday and they didn't bother to even ship out my order till the following Tuesday. I placed both evike and airsoft gi orders like 6am so they had plenty of time to ship that day. And when i called AGI to see what the delay was the operator was just rude and acting like i was just bothering him. Screw AGI, will never order from them again.
