Cheap AGM GBB >$200?!
« on: May 23, 2009, 02:48:08 PM »
What do you guys think about this AGM GBB M4?  Ebaybanned says that it will be less than $200 (or "$1XX USD").  I'm not a fan of AEG M4's or just about any ArmaLite, but I do like green gas GBB rifles.  I hadn't heard anything about it until I saw it on their site, so I don't know if it's a direct clone of the WA.

Here's the picture:

It's a clone of the WA, gunner has it, and I wouldn't bother with it.  You are buying a cheap clone of a flawed gun.  You are still stuck with $60 mags and sub-par performance.

I heard WE tried to fix a few of the flaws that the WA had.  Do you know if it worked?  Also, are you talking about sub-par performance because it's a GBB, or is it worse than the WA?

wa is crap G&P come pre-uprgaded with all the parts to handle even co2. Pro win is fixing the magazine problem by putting out cnc mags that shoot 250ish shots. I have a Woc and let me say performance is astounding. Its a cash hole though. Ive already spent 1k on it and have about 1k more i want to do lol you all can thank me for being a one man economy stimulant

Subpar performance meaning there's plenty of better performing GBB's out there with more reasonable price tags once you factor in the stupid expensive mags.

I came across the AGM GBB M4 for the first time on eBay just a couple days ago. eHobbyAsia sells the gun for about $195 with free shipping. They also sell the 50-rd mags for $18. I think this is a very reasonable price.

I realize that quality is an issue and I have not had a chance to speak to someone who's played with both the AGM and the WA, but I think the AGM looks promising.

I've actually heard quite a bit of things leading to the idea that the AGM is, in fact, superior to the WA.
For one thing, WA's parts, though may be the original in production of this generatio's GBB M4, are actually said to be weaker.

But then again, WA has always kind of been like that.

As soon as I see that AGM mags are more easily available on this side of the world I'll be buying up an AGM GBB M4.

You'll want to stay away from the AGM. A copy of a already flawed system. The WE-Tech series looks to be the best out at the moment. This guy giver a very good thorough review of the AGM. Basically, its junk unless you upgrade alot.
