Modified Classic Army M4 for Sale/Trade
« on: September 29, 2009, 04:00:30 PM »
So I'm selling one of my guns to fund the purchase of another, as is usually the case. So up on the chopping block is my original Classic Army M4 that I've made internal and external mods to.

So the base gun is an Classic Army M4. It looked like this when I first got it: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/LL ... directlink

but it currently looks like this: http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/be ... directlink http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/No ... directlink

Internally, the spring was upgraded with a PDI 170% putting it to 360-370 FPS with .20's; It has a Madbull tightbore barrel; and it's running a full size 9.6v (which is included).

Externally it has a full length free floating rail system; A Barska red dot; a foregrip; and I've replaced the flash hider with one from a DBoys CQB as it just looked better (meaner).

Unfortunately the folding bi-pod in the picture is NOT included as I haven't paid for it yet, I was borrowing if from a friend, but I can include the original hand guards and front sight if you want them although I no longer have the original carry handle. I will also include the original high-cap magazine that it came with.

The only thing "wrong" with this gun is that I gouged up the external barrel when I pulled off the front site (it was the first one I did and I missed a set screw), but you can't see this the way the gun is now; however it would probably be something to keep in mind if you wanted to put it back the way it was.

With all of that said I'm looking for about $250.00 for it however depending on the offers I might be willing to do a trade and/or partial trade. I'd be interested in a CQB M4, preferably Classic Army but not necessary and/or I'm also looking for some scope options; a Red/Green Acog and/or EOTech would fall under this catagory.

On a side note I might also entertain some musical gear options, I'm currently looking for a 12 string guitar and/or a small tube amp (Blackheart Killer Ant??)

Sorry, I actually have a handful of amps and guitars, so I'm really only looking for a couple specific things.

When was that model produced?
What I mean was Gibson is the high end brand. Epiphone makes the same models with cheaper materials/less quality control.
And yes, if you paid a lot of money for that, you got ripped off. Looks like a counterfeit: I dont remember Epiphone going on the superstrat bandwagon.

Just to add: It also looks like the truss rod cover just got engraved with "GIBSON"

Edit 2: I looked it up.Epiphone did make strat copies, but they look exactly like Fender Strats. They never made a superstrat model.

Oh thats ok then haha.
Any guitar is good though, with the proper adjustments and pickups. My Ibanez S(non-japanese) plays a lot better than some Ibanez Prestiges ive played.

Sorry for going off topic lol. Im a guitar nut.

Try Craigslist first before you go running to Guitar Center. And try to get acuainted with the GC guys, they give you great deals on occasion.

All in all though, it's not a bad looking guitar as long as it plays good. I am slightly intrigued though on whether it's an Epiphone that I've never seen or did someone Frankenstein it with an Epiphone neck.

However trying to get the post back on track, the gun is still available and to clarify a little, as for actual trades, I'm looking more for an M4/M16 CQB style in trade. I prefer CA, but that part is negotiable depending on what you have.
