What is the average now a days?

Based on LC rules which most local guys loosely follow,
447 fps MAX with .36
450 fps MAX with .34
You'll want to ride a few FPS under this as these are the absolute limit.
Players who drop coin on a sniper rig like this would probably be guys who also frequent national Ops.

This Equates to 3.34joules or 600fps w/.2

Again though, With a gas rifle with proper air rig, dialing down the fps is as simple as turning the knob on your regulator.

Update. Here are some targets from some testing today...

MODS: can you move this to the GBB section? This is not really a for sale thread anymore. Thanks.

These were from 75 ft ranged with Google Earth. The targets were 1ft off the ground, shot from the prone supposed position with a pack. I know where I was aiming and where the shots hit are off vastly, but this scope is not sighted and the gun is not setup yet.

First group is modified gun shooting 450ish on propane with stock magwell. @ room temp. Aprox 85psi

Second group is same gun, shooting 450ish on nitrogen with modified magwell @ room temp, aprox 80psi

I'm not seeing anything sniper worthy here.  I mean the first group is worse than most high end AEG's.  Not to mention that 75' isn't really a test even.

These are almost a stock gun, it was just to show the difference in consistencies just switching gasses. The madbull barrel's and bb's suck. I have a pdi 6.01 cold rolled steel barrel on the way, but it's coming air mail.

EBR huh? I am assuming that is an AEG? Post up pics of it, I am sure it is badass, your guns always have some flare.

Yes, and a stock AEG can beat that.  There's something wrong here.

You sure about that? 75ft..a 1inch grouping? without a hopup?

A) The first picture does not look like a 1 inch group
B) Why would you be doing accuracy testing without your hopup adjusted
C) Yes, I can get 1" groupings from 90' with my KWA SR-10.  I'll look for the pictures when I get home.

I can see we are going to go back and forth on this.

The first is not a 1inch grouping, it wasn't accurate at all. The second one was 17mm or actually .66inches.

Because it wasn't to show accuracy, but consistency between shots. And you only need the hopup at a certain range, anything below 200ft it's pretty useless.

I would like to see that, because I honestly cannot believe it.

If I can't find the picture when I get home, I'll take another one this weekend.

Those were previous to the mag's I shot for the test. So yes, they were just random's. I shot 10 shots for each.
