I'll definetly go if there is some crazy objectives and if something comes with admission... other than that maybe not. but still sounds like it could be cool :D

I didn't want to think the price was real... maybe it's high because this Vanguard location is new, and renting it out would be harder for them to make money. They probably think that this event is worth $20 a person, and with other things that Marauders has to pay for, it comes out that much for a little profit for them? Just a guess.

Anyways, game sounds fun. I'd like to go if I could get admission cheaper, but this is one game I think I'll have to pass up due to money. I'll drive far, buy stuff for games, etc., but admission fees are where I put a real limit on spending (gotta put a limit on something, and that's what starts the money pouring out my ass faster than you can  figure out how to say my board name ;))

Thanks for the discussion about the event.  Here are some factors that affect the price of the game.

1)  The game will use the entire game field.  While the staging area may have some open game players near the field during the check in process (8 pm), the whole field will be reserved for OP Zombie Hunter.

2) Obviously, part of the game admission is going to Vanguard Airsoft.  Another portion goes to MTT staff members working the event.

3) A small portion goes to props and give aways.

4) Previous zombie games have sold out (or close to), thus an element of supply and demand.  Vanguard has built up an amazing field.  MTT could charge less and hold the event on our field ($20) or at Fightertown ($30), but we figure the game, prizes, staging area, amazing indoor field, and AIR CONDITIONING will be worth the price for a summer zombie game.

Again, thanks for the feedback about admission.

As for discounts, MTT will be providing some $10 off discounts to the game at both Operation Hornet's Nest and Operation: Blackout..

This looks great and I'll try my best to make it out, but a few quick questions.
1) Is vanguard open? or is it opening soon?
2) How much ammo will each squad get?
3) where do we go to pre-register?

If you still believe that airsoft is for 18+, you haven't played in America.

Marauders Tactical Training has signed on as a sponsor of the game.  Our staff will be hosting a move and shoot obstacle course competition on Friday and Saturday at the event with prizes for the top shooters on each day.

All paid attendees will also receive a complimentary admission to Operation: Blackout at the Urban Assault Course on August 28-29 and a $10 off coupon for Operation: Zombie Hunter at Vanguard Airsoft on August 21.

Thanks for the questions.

1) Vanguard is not open yet.  The field will probably open to the public at the begining of August.
2) Ammo limits will probably be about 100 bb's per player for the missions.  Extra ammo will be hidden throughout the game field.
3) Registration will open on Friday, July 30.  Locations to be announced (probably Gearbox Airsoft and Vanguard Airsoft).
4) The discount coupons can be used to register at the prepaid price, making the game only $30 for the General Public and $20 for Annual Pass Owners.

I'll be there. Can't speak for anyone else, but 40 bucks seems a fair price and I hope the field and promotors make a good profit.
