GAMEPLAY

this is how the rule system works for the upcoming milsim "Gold War: The Beginning," If you are interested in this game see the post on the Game Listing forum here: viewtopic.php?f=106&t=28537

Any questions or comments please pm PhoenixShadowCompany

PLEASE NOTE: It might seem like a lot of rules but just like any other game, you don't have to know them verbatim.  I'm sorry i write very long winded, but they are pretty straightforward so just come out and have a good time.

THE POINTS SYSTEM

Each faction will have objectives for each mission that will earn them points.  Some objectives will earn more points than others, some objectives will subtract points if failed. It’s up to the chain of command to decide what objective to pursue and how to pursue them.  While the 82nd and OLA objectives are publicly known, the renegade PMC objectives are not.  The faction that holds the most points at the beginning of the match will have a large advantage.

UNIVERSAL OBJECTIVES

These objectives are universal to every mission,

1st in command killed = +250 points to killing team
1st in command captured = +500 Points to capturing team -500 points to captured team
Other command team capture= +200 points to capturing team
Normal Capture= +100 points to capturing team
Shutout Victory, all players dead= +1000 points to killing team

NOTE FOR RENEGADE PMC - RENEGADE PMC DOES NOT GAIN ADVANTAGES LIKE THE BIG TWO FACTIONS. IF THEY ARE IN THE POINTS LEAD THEY BLOCK THE OTHER TWO TEAMS FROM GAINING AN ADVANTAGE.

WOUNDED

If you are shot you are not out of the game you are downed.  You can only be downed once.  A downed player must yell “HIT DOWNED!” and sit down (please be aware of WHERE and WHAT your sitting on and use common since) with their weapon over their head.  A downed player can still give intel to other players and yell MEDIC, but cannot fight.  A downed player can be killed by being tagged on the shoulder by an enemy player and saying “EXECUTED” or hit with a melee weapon.  If a player is hit by a melee weapon (ie. Rubber knife, Nerf sword, exct.) at any time he is automatically dead.  It is bad player conduct to shoot downed players, a downed player is not taken out of the game for being shot again.

DEAD

If a player is downed twice or struck by a melee weapon he is DEAD.  The player should yell HIT!, throw up your red dead rag and or weapon in the air, And leave the field to the staging area and prepare for the next game.

CAPTURE/SURRENDER

If you have a player dead to rights (gun trained on their backs, or badly outnumbered for example) within 10 feet of them you have the OPTION to yell “SURRENDER!”  At this point the player can yell “I SURRENDER!” and raise their gun over their head, or continue to fight, if they fight you have full right to shoot them.  If the player surrenders they are your captive, you can return them to your factions base for extra points.  The captured player must follow you, they cannot fight but can be downed.  They can also be rescued by their own teammates and they are brought back into the game (the person leading the captured player is downed or dead).  Captured players can also escape given the opportunity (see explanation below.)  When they are returned to your factions base camp, they must wait there under the care of the command team until escape, rescue or until the end of the game where points will be issued for captured players.  Captured players can also be tagged on the shoulder and “executed.”  A captured player is considered to "not have a weapon," Do NOT under any circumstances take any weapons or equipment from a captured player.

ESCAPE

If a player is captured he has the option to escape.  This is at the captured players discretion given the opportunity that his captor is distracted, in combat, unable to guard him, exct.  The captured player is considered to "not have a weapon," and can NOT open fire until tagged in by a teammate.  An escaping player can be downed and killed.

MEDIC SYSTEM

The Gold War Milsim has a unique medic system.  Each faction has different rules to how their faction handles their wounded (SEE FACTIONS/MEDIC SYSTEM.)  Universal to all factions is how a player is revived.  Each revive is marked by a “revive tie,” a small neon colored plastic tie that a Medic or Combat Life Saver ties around a players arm or other visible area.  Once the tie is on the player is back in the game.  A player regardless of the faction can only be revived once, meaning if you are shot with a tie already on you are out.  A medic player (not CLS) is marked with a white armband with a red cross on it.  A medic can NEVER change during a mission, the medic player can change in-between missions in staging only.  It’s important to remember two important things about your medic, the first is protect your medic, the second thing is kill enemy medics.  If you wish to play medic roles you will be a target, and you will also have to be willing to rush into combat to save downed allies.

ENEMY MEDIC RULE

If an opposing medic comes upon a enemy downed player, he can revive him and that player automatically becomes captured.  All standard capture rules apply and player is counted as being downed.

MELEE WEAPONS

Melee weapons are allowed, for example rubber knifes, foam swords, nerf weapons.  They must be approved by the staff before being used on the field.  NO PLASTIC BLADED OR BLUNTED knifes/swords are allowed, they are still dangerous in the right situation.  Melee contact should be done LIGHT/SOFT strikes.

VEHICLES

In the event that there are vehicles on the field some special rules will apply. A vehicle can be "destroyed" by a single foam rocket or launched grenade

CHEATING

Cheating makes airsoft bad for everyone, including yourself.  Not calling a hit can happen purposely or because you honestly didn’t feel/hear the bb hit you (happens to all of us).  If you are caught not calling a hit you will be given one warning, the next instance you MAY be asked to leave.  Other forms of cheating such as changing medics during a scenario or removing revive bands will result in an instant ejection from the game.  Do not handle or accuse players of cheating yourself, though cheating can be infuriating please calmly report cheating to a GAME STAFF MEMBER ONLY.  Overshooting players or shooting downed players is bad conduct and will be dealt with at the staff’s discretion.

It can be as nice as you want but you have to balance the detaniees as well as ensuring enough people to complete the mission

i may have come up with a solution,. you can run away but you cannot start shooting unless you get tagged in by a teamate, kinda like saying he threw you a gun to fight with.  what do you guys think.
