OPERATION BAD COMPANY 3/26/2011
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:41:30 AM »
Swelling unrest and violent protests in the Mideast have increased. Backed by Pakistani fundamentalist factions and their leader Al Sabdul Samali, the rebel forces of Superioristan have found a rich source of uranium deposits on the plains of Havasupi. Al Sabdul Samali has stated profoundly that he would “Blow all Infidels from the face of Earth Allah willing!” In addition, Bosnian militiary elements under the cloak of the USSR have provided advisory and special operations support to these same rebel forces.

US elements fear the Pakistani loyalist nations and Russian factions are utilizing the rebel uprisings to gain access to the uranium resources with unknown future consequences.

US response via SOCCOM has been to infiltrate local militia groups deemed friendly to the West to gain intelligence. This intel produced reliable locations of at least two rebel mine sites. Rebel strength in this region is estimated to be the strength of a battalion detachment, but with the great amount of local support, it could be as much as an entire brigade itself. Russian-deployed forces have established command and control bunkers near the mine sites. It is unclear how many of their special operators are in the field.

US is sending in Joint Special Operations Task Forces, developed to neutralize the oposing forces at the mine sites and hold the locations safely long enough to allow US Geologic specialists to evaluate the mining operations and develop a plan to safely and effectively neutralize all mining operations.

At this time the two known rebel-defended mine sites and their excavation operations are underway with strong conventional weapons support. It is expected that this support comes directly from the USSR-backed Special Operations units. In addition the rebels are believed to possess high altitude SAM missiles making air operations risky.

I'll be there as part of the Seal team if available. Should be fun. It is a great AO that hasn't been fully explored.

CoF has 4-5 confirmed for Foxtrot2 (Rangers) and 1-2 confirmed for Foxtrot1 (Seals).  Waiting to hear back from a few others.

Put Warlord down for 4 on the Seal team.  We may have one other with us... I'll PM for sure.  I know the roster would be full for that team.

Thanks

Just to follow up with afew questions.
Hi cap mags are allowed, but not box mags unless you are in a support role using a support weapon.
Age limit is set but you can play with an adult sponsor

Cell phone coverage at the AO is not available (not one bar)
Directions to the AO will be posted here on Friday and the co-ordinates are on the main post.
There will be CQB type scenarios based on the cover, a sidearm would be a good idea but isn''t mandatory.

When we are full we are full  but we still have some spots left.
