Vertical Grip Install
« on: March 19, 2011, 07:33:01 PM »
A recently bought a ris foregrip for my echo 1 AR, and it really doesn't want to go on the rail. Are there any tips on getting the grip on, because it seems to be a very tight fit on there.

What type fore-grip is it? I had to sand down a few tango down grips I had because the airball rails were out of spec, but you may not have it loose enough.

Might sound silly but... Perhaps you're attempting to put it on backwards..?

Considering there isn't a way to put a grip on backwards, yes it sounds silly.

Its a knights armament, and I finally got it on after covering it in soap, and using a hammer to slide it down the rail.

Atta boy!!!
I had trouble getting a cheapo vert grip to slide down the standalone m4 rail, and I just finally gave up. Maybe ill try this approach.
