I haven't been there in a long time, but they used to be in front of all their other pouches in a box on the floor.

However, like I said, I think that the waistbelt I was talking about is part of the pack and not part of the MOLLE LBV.

If I were looking for a MOLLE LBV waistbelt, I'd probably try eBay.  I do know that most of them you see on eBay don't include the waistbelt for some reason.  I don't know why.

Pouches are usually in the center section between the BDU's and where the cashier is. But closer to the BDU's...right where the pistol belts are. It could be that they are out. They were when I needed some M16 mag pouches....which is why I went to US Surplus.

I found one belt, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... gory=36071
but it doesn't look like it has those straps to tie into the back of the vest, so I'm guessing it is not the right one?

You think I could just hook some straps onto my pistol belt and the vest? or should I actually get the REAL belt...

You could possibly jury rig something, however the real belt would likely work a lot better.  I don't know how much luck you'll have getting just the belt by itself.  The upside of this is that the LBV by itself is no big investment, and you could always get the whole set somewhere and sell off your extra LBV upper.

Matts right saying it's the wrong one.  That thing there is the waist strap set for the MOLLE II pack.  Similar to the MOLLE I, but without the plastic washboard (which was one away with in the II).

I'd say sell that thing and start over.  It really isn't worth all the trouble!

Done.
And to think two pages about a MOLLE vest came from a question about where to get M16 pouches :)

Yeah, we tend to get long-winded around here when gear is discused.[:D]  2 pages for boots, 4 pages for helmets, blah blah blah.  I don't help the situation any, either[:P].
