MTT OPFOR Training Program at UAC May 15 (9 am - 4 pm)

The MTT OPFOR (Opposing Force) Program is designed to prepare participants to serve as enemy combatants and civilian role players during public and private MTT training and combat adventure programs.  Training covers:

Event Safety Requirements
Individual Required Equipment
OPFOR Attack Levels
Specialized Equipment Use (Mock IED's, Pyrotechnics, Blank Firing Weapons, Vehicles, Staff Radio Communication)
Roleplaying and Interaction with Training and Combat Adventure Participants
Training Scenario

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a rating of Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3.  Ratings will be issued upon age, skill, experience, individual equipment, and availability.  All certified OPFOR participants will receive free invitations (depending on rating) to participate in future MTT training or combat adventure programs.

Tier 1 OPFOR - Private Law Enforcment, Military, and Specialized MTT Training Programs (Example: AZ Police Agency SWAT Training at UAC or Confrontation 2012)

Tier 2 OPFOR - Public and Private Special Events (Example: Police Explorer SWAT Adventure Programs, MTT SPEC OP Adventure at UAC, Marauders Training Challenge)

Tier 3 OPFOR - Public Airsoft Adventure and Airsoft Training Programs at UAC or other locations (Example: Black Hawk Down, MTT Close Quarter Combat Training)

Equipment Requirements
Sealed Eye Protection with Mouth Guard
Civilian Clothes/Woodland Pants/Black or White Long Sleeve Shirt (any combination of these)
US Military Uniform (ACU or DCU)
Canteen or Water Bottles
Hearing Protection (ear plugs)
Gloves

Optional Equipment
Shemagh
Dish Dasha or similar middle eastern clothing
AK 47/74 AEG < 375 FPS with .25 magazines
Simple Chest Rig (no tactical vests or plate carriers)
FRS Radio

Event Admission *
MTT Annual Pass Owners $30
General Public $60
*Participants who do not successfully complete the program or receive at least a Tier 3 rating will be allowed to retake the course an additional time without charge to receive a certification.

Registration  (16 spaces)
Registration is open to participants 16 and up with a valid driver's license.

A staff member will contact you by telephone to conduct a phone interview and answer your questions about the program.

Additional OPFOR Programs will be conducted in May and June.

Heh, count me in for this too.  I'll admit, I was looking forward to CQB, but that we can take anytime.

Now I'm even more excited for this OPFOR program.  If it's close to what Mike described to me at West Wing, then this definately sounds like a good idea.

MTT will be offering a number of free admissions to the MTT OPFOR Training program on May 15.

Our staff needs 8 - 12 zombie volunteers for a private zombie adventure, based upon Resident Evil, being hosted at the MTT UAC on the afternoon and night of May 14.  Volunteers for the zombie game will receive a free admission to the OPFOR program on May 15 or another MTT event.

A carpool will be available on Saturday afternoon returning late Saturday night.  Volunteers may also camp out at the UAC for the training program on Sunday.

The next MTT OPFOR program is scheduled for this Sunday, May 15.

Those who would like to earn a free admission to this program can volunteer as a zombie role player at a private zombie adventure on May 14 at the UAC.  

Our staff is still looking for at least three volunteers.  There will be a carpool for volunteers on Saturday at 2 pm and returning at 11 pm.

Volunteers need:

A Zombie Mask or Zombie Costume (example: torn clothes with blood)
Full Face Mask
Chest Protection

Registration for the OPFOR program and zombie volunteers closes on Thursday evening.
