TM vs WE 1911

Just wondering if anyone knew offhand or was capable of testing this: Can the mainspring housing of a TM 1911 fit a WE 1911? Thanks in advance.

Dont quote me on this.. but I found that alot of WE guns were designed to work with TM parts.  Not all, but alot.
