KJW P226
« on: April 22, 2011, 01:43:00 PM »
So i got this gun about a month ago and go to shoot it for the first time today... I knew the mag leaked so when i put the propane into it it statted leaking all over. So I filled it as fast as i could and put it into the gun and got two shots off. I the went and took the magazine apart and fiddled around with it. I put silicone oil on and it back together. I put propane in and it didnt leak!!! But now it wont shoot. I put everything back the right way... It seems the firing pin that is supposed to strike the output valve either isnt stong enough anymore or its not striking it at all. Any ideas????

KJW are based off TM design for the most part. I'd look around for parts that are TM compatible and do a visual comparison and maybe ask around on higher population forums like airsoft retreat, arniesairsoft, etc. to make sure. Most of the hits I got on google claim its TM compatible although it seemed a few individuals weren't sure.

My KJW 1911 is 100% TM based, so I'd assume the P226 is as it'd be a waste of time to develop new internals when the TM specs could be cloned for cheaper and work just fine.
