Ignore them, and give them bad or better yet, no word of mouth. To start off telling people about a store you would rather they know nothing about is not going to help us out much. Pretend they don't exist, complain when someone asks about them, and hope they go under soon.

We want Airsoft to stay as obscure as possible in the public eye. (If your under 18 don't get us started on this conversation it has been done to death before) Only bad things can come from the media publicizing our sport.

</blockquote id="qn't buy airsoft, but since I am not, it's a moot point. I didn't have anything to do with airsoft until I was in my early 20's, so I didn't have to deal with the age thing for airsoft. I did for driving and various other things. You can't legislate maturity. If you have some way to do that, I'm sure the gov't would LOVE to hear about it - and you'd be a wealthy man.

About responsibility, you're preaching to the choir. Parents in this day and age need to be MUCH more responsible than they are. Parents look to blame ANYTHING but themselves for ANY undesireable behavior(s) their child exhibits. It's sickening, but it's the leftist mantra that responsibility doesn't matter.

However, trying some "civil disobedience" regarding minors in airsoft ("allowing" them to play against the laws) is NOT the way to go about getting things changed.

Look, what it comes down to is this (we've echoed it a million times, but it always comes back to this):

What most of the "I am young but more mature than most guys 138x my age" crowd doesn't realize is that if someone over 18 hurts themselves, they are a dumb adult. If someone over 18 uses airsoft to rob a bank, they are an adult; responsible for their actions.

But if someone under 18 hurts themselves, it is not their fault, and parents look to blame anything possible. If someone under 18 uses airsoft to rob a bank, it is the fault of the replica/the retailer/the airsoft culture, etc.

Screw any ideas about maturity rates and that crap. Its not about "my, for a 14 year old, you sure are responsible" its about "as a 14 year old, if you screw up, you hurt the sport more than if you were 19 years old."

Like it or not, the law says you are an adult at 18, and the law treats minors and blame differently than adults.

Again, if you don't like that, write your senators and congressman to get it changed.

It is said that on the eve of battle, Dienekes was told that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys, the mass of arrows blocked out the sun. \"Good,\" Dienekes laughed, \"then we\'ll have our battle in the shade.\"
ok i'm new to the forum, but what you guys say on here is very disappointing. You first of all sound like a bunch of wining babies witch does not make people very fond of your point. i can tell that most of you are cocky teenagers with a real bad attitude. i have read your other forum's about this "softair depot" and also what you have posted here as well and i have a few things to say. first of all i have been in there several times and purchased several things from them. they are all very nice guys. clay is the manager and casey is the asst. manager. those two for sure know a lot about the sport and also about the guns, i watched casey take apart a tm m4 and remove a washer that had got into the gears. so to sit online and say they do not know what a tappet plate is and know nothing about how they work is rediculous. secondly, they do admit that their prices are more expencive then the internet they flat out told me you can get this gun (mp5 pdw) for a hundred dollars less at least on the internet. but they also have good reason for that, you do not pay shipping and handeling, it comes with a battery and charger, and they will fix it free of charge if anything goes wrong with it (for myself that part really appeals/ but i know a lot of you know yourself how to fix) and not to mention the instant gratification. so spending the extra money was worth it for me. mabey not for most of you but that gives you no reason to tell everyone dont go there it's outrageous pricing. third, those of you who say boycott cybergun because they are trying to drive everyone else out of busness and dont buy their product it's s**t, news flash wheather you buy cybergun or another "better brand" they are all made by the same manufacturer. and as far as owning all the licences and making a monoply, whoever says boycott them for that i say to you, you obviously know NOTHING about how to run a business they did what they did to keep themselves out of trouble with the law and also yes it makes them a lot of money too if they did all the horrible things that you say they do they would not be so successful. and lastly in this forum you a lot of you seem to dislike what was said in the article. yes steele said things that were wrong and not true, if he said them at all( dont believe everything you read) and you are right he probably knows nothing about the game of airsoft but it said in the article he is the CAO of cybergun usa. he doesent to the gaming side of it so why would he know, he's a business man obviously, that's why he has clay and casey working in the store. because they do know what the hell they are talking about. that is what i needed to say to you guys, hopefully you can all see another side of that store, and not how horrible it is. i was also a bit disappointed at how there were a lot of little kids in there with guns, but i had to think to myself if i were that age i would probably want one too. everyone has to begin somewhere and that is what softair depot is great for. they have beginner stuff and also advanced things. mabey they are not going to be the hardcore gaming store that you are looking for and if that's how you feel-- DONT GO THERE-- bottom line they are really nice there and they know a lot about the guns and the game. and they also know how to run a very good buisness if what the paper said was true. i did not mean to affent anyone on this reply.
Hey, I am Casey. Wanted to clear this up with the forum. I am not .44 mag. .44 mag used my name obviously to get myself and SoftAir Depot in trouble by making you guys think I wrote that. I'm a pretty smart guy and would not be stupid enough to use my own name if i was going to pose as someone else. I can see that a lot of you do not like us much, .44 mag clearly has something against me. That is fine everyone has their own opinion. Just so you know, This is the only name I use on the forum.

Also, now that we have been open we can start ordering the specialty parts you are looking for, we would like to have you as customers in our store. Please call me and let me know what you would like to see us carry in the store as far as accessories go and also guns. Mabye in the future you too will shop in SoftAir Depot.

Sorry bud. Caught in a lie, you are. The IP address for ".44 Mag" and the one for you (softairdepot) are EXACTLY THE SAME (yes, I log them for cases just like this). You're one and the same. I'll let the forum members take it from here while I grab some popcorn and watch you try to squirm out of the hole you just put yourself in.
