Has anyone used one of these? Do they stay in place pretty well?

I use a Motorola boom mic and have no complaints about it.  $29 from the Motorola online store.

ill check out the booms..

The throat mic i have was a radio shack one.. so that may ahve something to do with it.  But when in cover and you need to talk quietly into the mic, the throat mic doesnt pick anything up.  that and when you talk its muffled anyways.  Id just rather have a regular mic.  They dont exactly get in the way, an they sound lots better.

I have an earpeice and mike.  The mike is a small mike and talk button which clip on to almost anything you want, I clip it on my collar.  Here it is, also at Radio Shack.

hmmm that one looks nice.. not too bad.  I like the PTT being on the mic itself.  Fromthe picture thouth it looks likeit only has one plug... the radios we use have 2, one for the earpeice and one for the mic.  Does this one actualy have 2?

This is very close to what im using...  http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... =21%2D1835

This one comes with a 2.5mm plug for the mic and a 3.5mm plug for the speaker.  http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... d=19%2D315

But it is a bit weird because dont they usually come togther and are not seperated like that? Im not sure if this would work.  I know they make dual prongs in the style I have.
