well, if its, for example, one of those P90's, they're 100% crap.  some kid brought one to a game we had and the thing fired 10 feet (literally) and.... well, that explains it enough.  anything electric and 50 bucks is likely crap.

yeah I would never get one for actual arisoft. already got a badass gun anyways. I just wanted to get like 3 of them to plink around with my friends. Now I will just save the money and invest in some more gbbs to play with

I have one of those cheap P90's they are great for one thing and one thing only....

A waste of $50 for anything other than a wall hanger, which is all I wanted it for.

The SIG and the P90 at Jungle Toy have very little on common.
The P90 is gravity fed, and uses the same gearbox as some of the cheap minis.
The SIG on the other hand uses a chinese copy of the TM Boys gearbox,
and is fed from a spring tension mag much like most AEGs with a capacity of 34 rounds.
The range on the sig is about as good as a mini.
While not good for "real Airsoft" it is quite good in a springer battles or for in the house CQB.
I bought four of these for my two children and my two nephews, and they are lovin life .

I have heard that they will be making an upgraded gearbox for the sig, as wel as some other upgrades to get it shooting around 280 fps.

wow! awesome! 280 fps! its still a piece of crap. You could just buy a KJW para full metal 1911 and have 380 fps stock :P

whats the story on those $50 AEGs

well I went to jungletoy today and bought a new gbb and some other supplies. I saw a lot of 50 dollar full size aeg type guns. I was just wondering what is the quality like. If I got them to plink around with my friends in the backyard, would they last long enough for the 50 dollar cost. and are they even good enough to plink around with friends? My friends aren't serious enough into airsoft like me so they won't spend money on anything over a springer.
