He doesnt want his rifle looking like your underpants andy. I dont think it would look good with that...maybe its because i'm not a "painter" kinda guy.

So when you painted it, do you have to cover anything up or is it all sealed?

First i just stood the gun up on its stock and gave it 2 thin coats of the Tan and let that dry.  Then i layed it in the box like in the pics and did the OD.  After that i added the brown in those spots.  The only thing i covered was the mag well and stuck my finger in the barrel some times when i did the flash hider.

looks good. All you gotta do now is paint the "bolt" black, instead of ugly silver...

I tried to paint mine a while ago and the spray paint just beaded and clumped together.  It didn't really adhere at all to the metal (could have been bad paint).  What I did instead was I took a fake "bolt" off of a broken marui gun and cut it down to size.  The edge is a bit ragged but it sure does look better than a silver one.

Long Trang, if you would like, I can give you my old fake silver "bolt" and I will also have some black Krylon if you want to try painting it at the game on Saturday.

I was looking at the pics, admiring your paintjob.. and, I noticed something.

I love the cute, happy mushrooms in the background.
